TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Commission approved a bid for three new commercial grade washing machines and four laundry dryers for the county jail as usage has increased during the coronavirus pandemic.

Southeastern came in with the lower bid, which was ultimately approved at a cost of $53,985.40, while SaveMore's bid was $60,588.
"They're actually going to take care of all the installation and we'll prep it," Sabbagh said. "There's a little bit of vent work we have to do in-house."
