Turner sets roadmap for decarbonisation
Former chair of UK Climate Change Committee lays out recommendations for reaching net zero
Lord Turner chairs the Energy Transitions Commission (ETC), a global coalition of major power and industrial companies, investors, environmental NGOs and experts working out achievable pathways to limit global warming to well below 2˚C by 2040.
He has previously chaired the UK’s Financial Services Authority (2008-2013) and the UK’s Climate Change Committee (CCC) (2008-2012), and was director general of the Confederation of British Industry from 1995 to 2000.
