Turkmenistan – International Labour Organization: policy in public employment

The online ceremony on presenting the instrument on the ratification of the ILO Convention No. 122 "On Employment Policy", signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Director-General of the International Labor Organization Guy Ryder took place in Geneva on April 14.
During the ceremony, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office in Geneva Atageldy Haljanov emphasized the commitment of our country to the constructive dialogue with authoritative international structures, in particular with the International Labour Organization.
As a full member of the ILO since September 1993, having ratified 10 conventions, 8 of which are fundamental ones, Turkmenistan fully supports the basic principles of the Organization, implementing the universally recognized norms of the ILO provisions into national legislation.
