A woman and her lover were apprehended by the HSR Layout police on Tuesday for the murder of her husband, 30-year-old Venkata Naik. Nandini Bai allegedly beat her husband to death with a rock after he discovered her with Nitish Kumar at their residence. They attempted to stage the death as an accident but were exposed after the post-mortem report confirmed the murder. Both Nandini and Nitish, originally from Andhra Pradesh, confessed to the crime during police questioning.
