TSMC supplier to invest NT$6 billion in Taiwan over next 3-5 years

Taipei, Dec. 21 (CNA) Entegris Inc., an American supplier of semiconductor materials to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), announced Monday that it will invest about NT$6 billion (US$211 million) in Taiwan over the next three to five years.
In a statement, Entegris said it plans to build a new factory in the Kaohsiung section of the Southern Taiwan Science Park in early 2021 to make products such as filters for micro-contamination control, gas delivery systems and advanced chemistries for its clients.
