Truck strikes 3 pedestrians in Warrensburg, 2 killed

WARRENSBURG -A tractor-trailer collided with three pedestrians at a town of Warrensburg intersection Friday afternoon, killing two of them, Warren County deputies said.
Police said that at about 1:15 p.m., the sheriff’s Communications Center received a report of the collision at Main Street and Richards Avenue. Additional reports indicated that at least one pedestrian was trapped under the trailer section.
Officers determined that a 2006 Peterbuilt tractor-trailer combination, driven by a Queensbury man, 46, was traveling northeasterly on Richards Avenue.  He began turning left from Richards Avenue onto Main Street and struck the three pedestrians within the intersection.
