Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV believes that he has an “airtight case” against President Duterte and his former long-time aide, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, over the alleged P6.6 billion in government contracts that Go’s family’s business received while the President is in power.

Normally, corrupt public officials would hide behind dummy accounts but with Go, Trillanes said there was no need to prove the connection because his father and half-brother were the signatories in the government contracts in Davao City and Davao region.
“Dito ka makakita na diretso, pamilya talaga. Oo, airtight case po ito, according sa mga lawyers na nakonsulta natin. Kasi ‘di mo na ipu-prove ‘yung links dun sa kanya kasi tatay and kapatid ‘yun eh (This is where you can see that the link is there because it’s his family. Yes, this is an airtight case, according to the lawyers we have consulted. You don’t have to prove the links because it is his father and brother),” Trillanes said over Radyo Singko.
