Trigg court approves clerk budget

•Magistrates approved transfers of $3,000 to the coroner’s program to be used for general expenses and $100 to the Property Valuation Administrator Board of Assessment Appeals.
•The court approved a list of expenditures as of Dec. 7, that totaled $214,094.76.
•Magistrates approved a second reading of an ordinance changing the speed limit on Kings Chapel Road from 55 to 45 miles per hour. The change affects the entire road. Alexander said the road signs have been ordered, and the law takes effect with publication of the ordinance.
•The judge-executive said the county’s recent Tire Amnesty Day went well, with some 4,000 tires collected in the local community.
