Tributes paid to Mayo teenager who died after tragic single-vehicle crash

TRIBUTES have been paid to a teenager who lost his life in a single vehicle crash outside Castlebar on Saturday night.

The driver - who died early on Sunday morning in hospital - has been named locally as David McHale.
One of the male passengers, also in his teens, was left in a serious condition at Mayo General Hospital, while another male passenger also received treatment for his injuries.
'TERRIBLE TRAGEDY'
McHale, who hailed from the wesr Mayo village of Mulranny, was a fifth-year-student in Rice College Westport.
