Tributes as 'rising star' Shane O'Brien dies in car crash

The 35-year-old was killed following a car crash in Pretoria, where he had been working.
Shane’s mother, Siobhan, spoke lovingly of her son as she and her husband, Tommy, mourn the loss of their only child.
“It’s just a nightmare. It is like being in a black hole,” said a tearful Siobhan.
Shane had moved to South Africa in the last two months to work for the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, an organisation where he was highly-regarded, in a job where he was destined for great accomplishments.
Siobhan said: “One of his bosses rang and said that the UN had lost its brightest, rising star.
