Our community recently lost Lisa Leipold on Feb. 16, 2021.
Leipold was an animal enthusiast and owner of a dog training business that included our area’s first therapy dog group.
She was a one-of-a-kind person and poured her heart and soul into everything she did.
Leipold and one of her dogs were the first certified therapy team through Alliance of Therapy Dog International in Altoona.
Throughout her life, Leipold had a love for dogs who played an essential part of fulfilling her dreams.
