Trial for retired Laurel police chief accused of setting revenge fires in Maryland to begin in Howard County

Former Laurel police chief David Crawford, who is charged with intentionally igniting a dozen retaliatory fires throughout central Maryland over a decade, is slated to stand trial for the first time Wednesday in Howard County.
