(TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA -May 22) Today, the trial concluded in a lawsuit challenging Florida's prohibition on Medicaid coverage for the treatment of gender dysphoria for transgender Floridians, as set forth in recently enacted SB 254 and the rule promulgated by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) last August. A ruling is expected in the near future from the Northern District of Florida, after a two-week federal trial in Dekker, et al. v. Weida, et al.
