Travis Credit Union partners with CHDC for pilot project
VACAVILLE — Travis Credit Union and Community Housing Development Corporation have partnered to promote the launch of CHDC’s “Driving Clean Assistance Program” as part of the Light-Duty Financing Assistance in Disadvantaged Communities pilot project.
This project allows Community Housing Development Corporation to provide financial assistance of up to $5,000, enabling consumers to purchase advanced technology (plug-in, hybrid and battery electric) vehicles.
The Driving Clean Assistance Program is part of the California Climate Investments Initiative, a statewide program to reduce greenhouse gases while providing local benefits to California neighborhoods, with an emphasis on disadvantaged communities.
