Singapore | Assurances that a Hong Kong-Singapore travel bubble is on track to open soon are the one bright spot for would-be tourists as south-east Asian nations battle new outbreaks and confront the limits of vaccination.
Thailand, which had planned to open its borders for international travellers in July, is logging record numbers of new infections, while the Philippines is battling to treat more than 183,000 active cases.
