<p>Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s transfer news.</p><p></p><p>The January transfer deadline is fast approaching as clubs scramble to add to their squads for the final months of the season. </p><p></p><p>There are some big deals in the works. <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/manchester-city/'>Manchester City</a> are in talks to sign Argentinean attacker Julian Alvarez from River Plate, with <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/tottenham-hotspur/'>Tottenham Hotspur</a> trying to push through <a href="https://theathletic.com/news/tottenham-and-wolves-close-to-agreeing-deal-for-adama-traore/J7WJySH24yPQ/" target=_self>the permanent signing of Adama Traore from Wolves</a>. </p><p></p><p><a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/chelsea/'>Chelsea</a> made their first signing of the window, <a href="https://theathletic.com/news/chelsea-sign-teenager-dylan-williams-from-derby-county/v951D2cNkT1W/" target=_self>adding Derby's 18-year-old defender Dylan Williams</a>. </p><p></p><p>Elsewhere on Saturday, <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/manchester-united/'>Manchester United</a> beat European rivals West Ham after a last-minute winner from <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/player/premier-league/manchester-united/marcus-rashford/'>Marcus Rashford</a>. Manchester City dropped points at <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/southampton/'>Southampton</a>, while <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/aston-villa/'>Aston Villa</a> beat <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/player/premier-league/everton/duncan-ferguson/'>Duncan Ferguson</a> 1-0 in the Scotsman's first game as <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/everton/'>Everton</a> caretaker manager. </p><p></p><p>On Sunday, <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/arsenal/'>Arsenal</a>, <a class='ath_autolink' href='https://theathletic.com/team/liverpool/'>Liverpool</a>, Tottenham, and Chelsea are all in action, with Antonio Conte returning to Stamford Bridge in the day's biggest game. </p><p></p><p>And remember, we want to hear from you.
