Theres no question in my mind that the child was drowned by the alligator. Reporter investigators say the child, lane graves of elk horn, nebraska, was with his parent and sibling playing in shallow lake water at the grand floridian when the alligator attacked. The boys father tried desperately to fight off the alligator but could not save him. Of course the family was somewhat relieved that we were able to find their son with his body intact. Reporter the sheriff said it was a tough message to deliver to the family. He was asked to pass on their thanks. They do appreciate all of the prayers that have gone forward. Reporter the search for the alligator will continue. There is a good chance we already have the alligator. Were going to go through the process and forensics and make certain.
