The hidden camera footage was recorded outside a restaurant in arlington on october 8. It was recorded by an undercover investigator from the conservative watchdog group. It will be cold air total west. The sea temperatures, Ocean Temperatures running about 5 degrees above average so that big difference between temperatures, that gradient is going to be more fuel for a big powerful storm with a windfield that will expand to hundreds of miles from the center of circulation. Over eastern cuba pulling toward the bahamas now leaving the north shore of northeastern cuba after being a category two storm, a strong one at landfall. Maybe slightly northwest over the next day or so. Winds from the Hurricane Center measured at 105 gusting to 130. Pressure 960 millibars moving north at 18 miles an hour. So well watch it today. Go through the bahamas and slowly wakingen. 100 mile an hour sustained winds at 2 00. Then it weakens to 85 here by friday afternoon. Saturday morning, though, about 80. Should be far enough off shore from florida that theyre just dealing with Tropical Storm force winds. My concern is when i look at the computer models, some of them are going out to the east. Its the ones that go back toward the west and northwest. Some of them way too close to us for comfort. Its weakened a little bit in eastern cuba but now its back in the open waters. I expect it to look a little angel berroa than this as it tracks to the north through a little bit better than this as it tracked to the north through the bahamas. Moving to the north at a pretty good clip 18 miles an hour. Prepare 960. The lower it goes, the stronger the storm. The higher it goes, the weaker the storm. Still expecting a category 2 storm through this evening, through the central bahamas. Weakening a little bit and slowly as we head in toward friday and now saturday morning. Notice the jog northwest and the jog northeast. Hurricane center track takes it parallel to the coast and back off toward the north. Well, this is not good news for the northeast and midatlantic because the cone now of uncertainty by Tuesday Morning getting on the midatlantic coast, the jersey coast, the long island coast.
