And i asked the federal government and the department of justice to come in and take a look at our department from top to bottom that we could do in similar rights and the investigation. Inside a body, calling that death suspicious. The victims identity and gender have not been determined. At an Early Morning shooting in northwest washington leaves one man dead and another hurt tonight. Dc police found the 39yearold of waldorf. Another man suffering from gunshot wounds to the 400 block of butternut street just before 2 00 this morning. He died a short time later. Tonight police are offering a reward of up to 25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in that case. Tense moments in alexandria. An Early Morning fire from several dozen hotel g for their lives. It all happened at the quality inn and suites at root 235 on route 235. It started with several explosions. Reporter even after the fire started, the firefighters were still out here fighting this as you can see the damage, it is very dangerous with the roof and the collapse. That there were about 200 people inside this hotel. A Large High School group out of new york city and several students were among the guests that ran from the quality inn and suites hotel before 3 00 a. M. This morning. The last thing we expect is these major explosions. And yelling fire and screaming and you know we started running out. Reporter he tells us at first they thought the sound came from maybe the students knocking over the soda machine. He thought it was an actual gunfire because of the area that it is not really as safe. And so we just stayed on the floor. And then when we heard that second explosion, we started hearing somebody yell outside. And we are glad to be okay that we were not actually on the side that it happened on. Reporter one person was treated for injuries as they would work to find about 100 shelters at the hotel as they could have gone home. And that we were stuck watching. My wallet, everything.
