The question remains, where are these missing children . And it is a question that Catherine Hoggle did not and still will not answer. Today, the competency hearing was held. And with the judges permission, a sixth hearing will be april 25th in cour at 9 00. Hoggle is charged with abduction and neglect and accused of hindering the investigation to the disappearance of her then 2 yearold son jacob and her then 4yearold daughter sara. The childrens father, troy turner, says he has spoken with her several times and she maintains she handed the kids much more. The childrens grandmother and the childrens father say enough is enough. As a mother, and im her mother, this needs to end. We need to solve this mystery. Whatever the mystery is. And that is what i have said over and over again. I am a realist. I know there is possibility that other terrible things have happened that she possibly killed my children. But at the same time, i think that they are out there. I dont have that feeling inside of me as a father that they are not with me anymore. Reporter today, Montgomery County states attorney John Mccarthy asked a District Court judge to allow the state to find its own doctor to conduct an independent evaluation. And mccarthy says that hoggle meets with two team, one that treats her and one that vaults her and doesnt think the reports line up with the statements of the mom and aunt and children. And they say she is mentally fit for trial but the the statements say she is not. Now the defense lawyer on the other hand, says hoggle doesnt need each Family Member had help from private counsel in writing those statements and he also says that those statements describe hoggles previous state of mind, not her current one. He insists she is incompetent to stand trial. And now the purpose of the next hearing held in april is to again review the report from another evaluation, and to discuss it openly, in court and to ask hoggle questions about it. Police say the 19yearold woman drove into the front of this liquor store in a strip mall on frederick avenue early this morning. Investigators say the 27year old passenger in the car took over the wheel and drove off. No one was hurt. The building inspectors are checking out the store to make sure it is safe to open. Prince georges county fire investigators are working to find out what triggered this mornings blaze at beltsville agricultural center. The building, smoke from the building, on potter mill road could be seen for miles. Crews managed to contain the blaze to the mechanical building. No injuries were reported. The uber driver accused of going on a deadly shooting spree in kalamazoo, michigan, over the weekend, is expected to be arraigned this afternoon, as investigators look for a motive. Police say 45yearold jason dalton shot eight people at three different locations killing six. Kenneth craig reports from the county courthouse in kalamazoo. Reporter investigators say 45yearold jason dalton picked his victims at random. Killing six people. And seriously injuring two others. Police say the uber driver began a shooting spree at an apartment complex in kalamazoo, michigan, saturday night. Then killed a 17yearold and his father at a car dealership. And then gunned down four women at a Cracker Barrel. Surveillance video led to daltons arrest morning. Dalt en is a former insurance adjustor and father of two, he is being arraigned at the county courthouse monday as investigators search for a motive. There is 12340 no. No connection that we are aware of between three different sets of victims to each other or to mr. Dalton. Dalton had no criminal history before the rampage and uber says he passed a background check. Investigators say he may have picked up spangs passengers during his shooting spree. Mark dutton and his friends say they got nervous when he pulled up in the black chevy matching the one that police were looking for. We said you are not the guy, are you . And he said no. The first victim, a woman shot at an apartment complex is expected to survive. And a 14yearold girl who was shot at the Cracker Barrel was originally declared dead by mothers hand. After filing suit in 2010, jury selection is finally under way in the erin andrews civil suit against the national marriott. The Sports Reporter is suing the hotel for 75 million. The incident happened in 2008. Her lawyers accuse Hotel Management of allowing a man to book rooms next to hers so he could peep inside and video tape her changing clothes. Court documents show the man, david barrett, posted the videos on the internet. Marriott international blames barrett and says the hotel is not responsible for what happened. Barrett pleaded guilty in the case. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Yesterday morning, a group of 13 skiers was caught in an avalanche around the es esplanade range. One person was hospitalized in critical condition. There have been many afternoon latches this winter. Many close calls. And a pattern is emerging, where many people are on the slope at once. And when you have many people on a avalanche risk increases. On saturday, a slide near quartz creek, a 30yearold snowmobiler, was killed. A second man was treated for serious injuries.
