But for another even colder surge of arctic air moving in for saturday and next week, maybe some snow, monday, tuesday, so first things first. Cold air is producing lots of snow showers in pennsylvania. A few of them drifting into far northeastern maryland. North of i70, potentially, you will see a flurry here or there. The other problem is the wind. Look at these gust, gusts to 32 in westchester. And 32 at reagan national. And 30 at joint base andrews. 24 manassas and leesburg. Cumberland, 30. With the cold temperatures and in the 20s and just about all spots, although it is 30 down here. Wind chills are still at this hour, Single Digits, and teens. I think we will get into the teens and low 20s, for the wind chills later this afternoon. But it is a very cold air mass. Considering yesterday. So we are looking at the big area of low pressure, spinning there, with all of the light snow showers. What we are looking at for the afternoon, temperatures not moving much. Upper 20s, to low 30s. And we will have the wind chills, i was talking about, and the wind chills relax some tonight and back down in the teens. A cold front, an arctic front, it comes tomorrow night. Authorities say 68yearold David Brian Evans fatally shot one of the officers inside a crowded restaurant wednesday afternoon. He just took out his gun and shot him in the head. And the wind chills will climb to the teens, and the 20s. Some of them are still in the Single Digits. And you will notice the wind speeds at 17 and 13. They calm down some tonight. At about 5 to 10. So it wont be as brutal. But it will be colder. Temperatures, they are brutal in the mountains. Low Single Digits. To zero. And we are in the 20s, area wide. The only 30 on the board. Is coming from orange, and to Single Digits in the north. And 10 in waldorf. 17 in leesburg. Thats what it feels like. It sure looks pretty out there. With some fair weather clouds. And a nicelooking day but you dont want to be outside on this.
