Reporter one of rosens victims is in the courtroom today and told me shes happy rosen ended up getting the 32 months. Thats three years and eight months on a handful of stalking and voyeurism charges. Stalking because the judge said rosen would go to victims homes repeatedly often lurking in alleyways, peeping in hard to see places and voyeurism because hed take the iphone and film them in their homes with every expectation of privacy. Rosen spoke today, too, and said he was deeply sorry for the impact he had on all of the victims lives. The government had recommended rosen be sentenced to five and a half years prison time. Today he got a few months shy of four. One victim said i will not feel safe if this evil man is not sent to jail. Also in court today, rosens whole family, including the wife who has stuck by him. We asked her why she did not want to answer our questions. Later on tonight at 5 00, well share with you how that victim told me that she felt once she saw those videos that rosen had taken of her. Thank you, deborah. A National Institutes of Health Employee is dead following a horrible crash between a motorcycle and bus. 35yearold francis plotty, jr. Was killed at the intersection of south pine and Rockville Pike. Reporter Police Believe the driver of the motorcycle was headed southbound on Rockville Pike when it ran into that rideon bus. About us was going northbound on Rockville Pike and was trying to turn left into nih. This happened before the sun came up. Police say the motorcycle driver was a 35yearold man, who was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. Rockville pike between jones bridge and cedar lane was closed for hours during the investigation and as a result, major traffic backups all around nih and walter reed. We have determined this staged suicide was the end result of extensive criminal acts that gliniewicz had been committing. Reporter after reviewing thousands of text messages, phone calls, and emails, investigators have determined gliniewicz was stealing and laundering money. Thousands of dollars were used by gliniewicz for personal purchases, travel expenses, mortgage payments, personal gym memberships, adult web sites. Reporter the highly decorated officer was on patrol in september when he was shot with his own weapon. Gliniewicz had radioed that he was chasing three suspects on foot before his body was found.
