Today Prince Georges County county Police Officers went to check on a woman at her apartment in the 9500 block of edwardsway and found her unresponsive inside. She had trauma to her body and was pronounced dead a short time later. Police have not released any information. Another metro train is out of service after a smoke incident this afternoon. Reporter 40yearold Joey Poindexter of gaithersburg was convicted of sexually assaulting five men that he met at beer pong tournaments. He met some of the victims at looneys pub in college park. Police say there are dozens of videos of the real estate appraiser sexually assaulting unidentified male victims, some as far back as 2004. Police chief did not give many details in the letter to uva students but said a student reported the assault last friday. State lawmakers will take up a bill that requires colleges to report alleged campus Sexual Assaults to police in 24 hours. The man charged in the disappearance. Uva student Hannah Graham will wait a little longer before his trial in Fairfax County. His lawyers said they need more time to look over evidence. Hes accused of sexually assaulting and trying to kill a woman he attacked in 2005 while she walked home from a grocery store. There has not been a new trial date set. Wusa9 learned the Fairfax CountyPolice Officer who shot john geer while responding to a Domestic Violence call had been the subject of four internal Affairs Investigations. One of those involved anger issues. The family of john geer wants a judge to force the county to release result of an internal Affairs Investigation into the shooting. The officer who shot geer in august of 2013, adam torres, is still on the force. Four other officers plus geers dad and best friend all say torres shot geer as he stood in the doorway of his home with his hands up. A prisoner in Fairfax County jail is on life support after deputies used a taser on her. She was arrested last week wanted for assaulting an alexandria Police Officer. Tuesday the deputies were trying to get her from the jail to alexandria when they say she wouldnt follow orders and they pulled out the taser. Captain tyler cory said a few minutes lapsed between the tasing and when the woman had a medical emergency. Deputies administered care and she was taken to a local hospital.
