Theres only 2 1 2 hours until the mall closes until we can say bye bye to black friday here at tysons corner. Just like surae has been reporting, its been really busy but not out of control crazy. For instance, in this walmart parking lot its busy in the store, but theres still Parking Spaces and a lot of shoppers i talked to said it wasnt as crazy as past black fridays and they attribute that and blame some of that on gray thursday which happened yesterday stealing the thunder. Look at some of the scenes today all over maryland suburbs from walmart to kohls and target to the Tanger Outlet malls. Its been busy but not nuts. Most shoppers think thats because a lot of Stores Opened early yesterday on thanksgiving day. Many of them stayed open all night like this walmart making lines and fistfight and all that craziness first thing in the morning today on black friday a thing of the past. Today so far has been a pleasure. Im shocked. Shopping was wonderful. Good. It wasnt as busy as i thought it would be. Reporter thats what everybody is telling me. Two new york boys have plenty to be thankful for. They were rescued after being buried in a snowbank for hours. The two had been playing wednesday night when they were apparently covered by a snowplow. Mark albert reports rescuers had to use their bare hands to free them. A snowplow operator is believed to have not seen the boys playing and covered them with a 7foot mound of snow. You know whats amazing, they were stuck in that snowbank for hours with nothing on their fingers, but they can move their fingers okay. It looked like their hand are going to be okay. You can see on satellite and radar those few snow showers to the north and west are not Holding Together as they make their way over the mountains, a little contrast to that quick little burst of snow showers that we had early in the morning. It put down just a little dusting. It wasnt a big deal, but now we have a warm front lifting through that will bring an end to any chance of wintery precipitation this weekend. The chilly air will be gone by the time we get into saturday afternoon. Then an approaching cold front actually drives in the winds from the south as we head into sunday that. Will lead to that milder air and temperatures will be a little above normal this time of year. The showers hold off until at least monday afternoon, 1 p. M. Monday those showers creeping into the d.
