So its right now below Severe Weather severe storm criteria but still a pretty good storm if youre headed in that direction. Its headed east so its going to head toward fredericksburg at about 7 25. Again, heavy rain and lightning with this storm and we are going to keep the chances for storms in the forecast right on through tonight. A Top Republican senator is predicting the president will soon get a chance to appoint another justice to the u. S. Supreme court. Senate Judiciary Committee chair Chuck Grassley iowaian newspaper one is going to retire. Those followed those of senator ted cruz who said in february there would be another Supreme Court vacancy this summer. Its a lifetime appointment to the court but consider this, there are three justices whose ages could signal possible retirement. You got ruth bader ginsburg, 84, Anthony Kennedy is 80, and Justice Steven breyer is 78. Justices ginsburg and breyer are among the courts more liberal justices. Justice kennedy is often the swing vote. A departure of anyone this summer would allow President Trump to shift the balance of the Supreme Court and, of course, remember after the gorsuch confirmation a Supreme Court nominee would only need 51 votes to be approved to the high court. The family arranged to donate that brain to Boston University which has been doing research on brain trauma in athletes. Tennessee teenager missing for more than a month has been found safe across the country. Police in Northern California rescued the 15yearold girl who was allegedly abducted by her teacher. Hes under arrest tonight charged with taking a minor across state lines to have sex. Fascinating new polls shows black teens are more active on social media than white teens. Apparently they are also more likely to own a smartphone. This poll found 90 of black teens that they talked with used snapchat, a third of them used instagram almost constantly.
