He was received with widespread condemnation from muslim leaders, democrats, even some republicans, including dick cheney. Dick cheney went on to say religious freedom has been a very important part of our history and where we came from. Some crucial testimony about whether freddie grays death was an accident or homicide has now been delivered. The testimony comes during the second week of the trial of officer william porter. Hes one of six baltimore officers charged in freddie grays death. The injuries gray suffered took center stage in trial yesterday with defense attorney warren albertein grilling the medical assistant. She made it clear if medical attention was given at stop number four, that would have saved freddie grays life. The judge denied the request for a mistrial because the prosecution withheld information about a prior back injury that gray had suffered. On monday they questioned Enrique Marquez who purchased the two assault rifles the couple used to kill 14 people. The fbi says they even practiced shooting at a gun range just two days before last weeks massacre. Agents are trying to pinpoint exactly what led them to kill 14 people at a holiday party. Family members of syed farook went to court monday trying to fight for the couples child. Farook and Tashfeen Malik left behind a 6monthold baby girl. They dropped her off with his mother last wednesday before the deadly attack. Since then Child Protective Services has had custody of the child but farooks sister and mother are trying to get her back into the care of family members. The Spotsylvania County sheriff is calling a teenagers disappearance suspicious. 19yearold Katelin Akens was last seen saturday when her family dropped her off at the Franconia Springfield metro station. She was traveling total airport to catch a flight but yesterday her luggage was found in a Drainage Ditch on river road near the fredricksburg city limit. The sheriff is asking anyone who has seen katelin to give them a call. Her parents say she was a victim after woman stalker for several months. 20yearold Heather Ciccone turned up dead on sunday. Her body was found in her car on piney branch road with a gunshot wound. The woman came looking for their daughter one saturday and wanted to beat her up. Authorities are still investigating. The man charged with killing University Student Hannah Graham will be examined by a Mental Health expert before his trial starts in july.
