New this morning, police are looking for suspects in a double shooting in temple hills. A woman was killed and a man was rushed to the hospital. Police say they found the man outside a house along 23rd parkway. The woman was found inside a nearby home. The names of the victims have not been released and so far, there is no word on a motive. The victim of a deadly tour bus crash in laurel has been identified. Michael palomo was 45 years old. The crash happened yesterday at a busy section at laurel fort mead road and rock ridge road. Investigators say the bus driver failed to yield to a pickup truck as the bus turned into a shopping center. Palomo the truck driver was killed and none of the 58 people on the bus were seriously hurt. Due back in court today the mother of two missing Montgomery County kids. The key question is whether katherine hoggle will tell a judge what happened to her children sarah and jacob. Their mother is charged with abduction and neglect and also accused of hindering the investigation into the disappearance of the children. Jacob was 2 when he was missing from the gaithersburg area last september. His sister was 4. In the past, katherine has been found incompetent to stand trial. Meanwhile the trial of the Prince Georges County man accused of killing his stem father also stepfather also a d. C. Police detective is coming to a close. Antoine james is charged with killing Joseph Newell and prosecutors say james shot his stepfather the death after a disagreement over yard work. Its day two of a military Pretrial Hearing to determine the fate of former Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl. Bergdahl was taken hostage by the taliban after deserting his post. In the move the Obama Administration traded five taliban prisoners being held at Guantanamo Bay for his release. Hena daniels has more. Reporter Defense Attorneys will begin building their case today to keep former Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl from facing a military trial. The 29yearold stands accused of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy for leaving his post in afghanistan in 2009. Charges which carry a possible life sentence. On day one of the Pretrial Hearing yesterday in san antonio, bergdahl sat in court. Still and silent and sometimes taking notes. Its a very low evidentiary threshold and certainly for that reason, should not be thought of as a trial. Reporter prosecutors called three witnesses to the stand. Including bergdahls former platoon leader captain john billings. Billings described how thousands of soldiers risked their lives for 45 days to try to find bergdahl. In a region known as ied alley. Under crossexamination, billings testified he had no idea about bergdahls Mental Health history and Defense Attorneys havent revealed how that could play into their case. They plan to call their own witnesses to the stand today, including Major General kenneth dahl who conducted the armys investigation into his disappearance. And new Body Camera Program for Police Officers will be launched next summer in the baltimore region. Thats the word from Baltimore County police. They say the first 150 cameras will be deployed july 2016. Eventually 1400 officers will be equipped with the body cameras. Virginias word of health has voted to roll back some strict rules involving abortion clinics. The decision comes as a setback to pro life advocates under the new rules existing abortion clinics will not have to comply with hospital style rules and building codes. Affecting several hundred players on sites like pokerstars and fulltiltpoker, Security Experts say the trojan virus is installed onto computers after downloading poker related programs including player data bases and calculators. The spyware takes screen shots of the affected players rds and sending it to hackers who then join online tables where victims are playing to up the stakes and steal money. We spoke with poker players who quit playing online when they suspected something was wrong. Ive played lot of online and i cashed out once. And a span of two years, once. So obviously theres something going on. Despite federal and state bans on online poker, an estimated one million californians spend 300 million annually playing the game. Typically on websites based outside the country. Korea ho worries professional players may also be victims of the virus. Hopefully this is going to be rectified somehow so that we can continue doing what we love for a living and hopefully poker will be around for a very long time.
