He was the youngest of 11 killed when the blackhawk helicopter crashed last week in florida waters. This is Staff Sergeant thomas florick in happier times. A Facebook Page photo shows his wedding last march. Today the Louisiana National guard named him as one of four guardsmen killed in last weeks crash along with seven marines from North Carolina on board their blackhawk helicopter. This has been a difficult few days for the really the entire department of defense, but i know for the marine corps and the Louisiana National guard inic it. Reporter florick and his crewmates through missions and relief flights along the gulf coast when hurricane isaac came ashore. Their helicopter went down during a Training Mission last week. Divers discovered the blackhawk in 25 feet of water off the Florida Panhandle last wednesday and have been working to recover the bodies inside. The four person crew of which florick was a Junior Member was described as highly experienced and believe the crash was in part caused by impenetrable fog. The combination of that with the weather made it very difficult to conduct search and rescue originally and recovery ops after that. It was a catastrophic accident. Today we found a baby registry online for the couple indicating floricks widow is expecting their first child this summer. Now to some breaking news out of herndon, sky9 flew over the scene on hidden brook drive after someone discovered the body of an adult man in the woods. Police are calling this suspicious. Investigators say that somebody saw the body late this morning and called police and the adult male had trauma to his upper body. Investigators say clarke and friends got into a fight with another group including the three people who were arrested. All three of them are charged with murder. This tragedy that surrounds this case is really the tragic mixture of alcohol, jealous and suspected betrayal that led to mr. Dzhokhar tsarnaev faces dozens of federal charges for the twin bombings that killed three people and injured 264 near the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon. Marley hall has the latest from boston. Reporter jurors inspected the boat where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev hid before authorities captured him. Two reporters took the jurors on their field trip in south boston. We be on at least 110 obvious we observed at least 110 obvious bullet holes in the boat.
