It pointed out that while many uva students had been expelled for honor code violations, none had been expelled for Sexual Assault. Rebecca wainwright with the Sexual AssaultResource Agency says victims often dont want to go through with prosecution. I dont know that were going to know exactly what the survivor was or wasnt told. For us we work very hard from how can we best help the survivor and a lot of survivors do not want to go forward. They do not want to talk to the police. They dont feel thats going to be a helpful process. Reporter requests to the uva administration to speak to president Teresa Sullivan went unanswered. We are definitely disappointed in the administrations handling of this thus far, but we see this as an opportunity for the administration to step up and create a policy that creates the strongest support system possible for survivors. Reporter today student leaders gathered together to stand together for change. This is our problem to solve. That means that every single one of us, all of us have a role to play in finding that solution. Christopher barry has always steadfastly says his position is he doesnt want to be in politics. Hes grown up with it. Its not been a pleasant experience for him, but ive been told christopher barrys name is Marion Christopher barry. You can imagine what that will mean to people who see it on the ballot and he may be having some second thoughts about running to replace his father. I understand theres some complications with him lying in state. The complication is were talking immediately after thanksgiving and council has an important legislation session on tuesday because they have important bills to get out and enacted by the end of the year. The funeral will be wednesday or thursday. Youd have to lie instate on tuesday. So the council would have to move the legislation session up or back, so well see what happens there. The sister of Navy Yard Shooter aaron alexis opens up about her brother. Hear how his bad behavior started at an early age coming up. Plus why the police in cleveland shot and killed a 12 yearold boy. Reporter nbc netflix, tvland all distancing themselves from bill cosby in the wake of rape allegations but not so far the smithsonian which continues to display his Art Collection. New allegations tonight against bill cosby, this time from a man who claims that cosby asked him to pay off several women who had sex with the comedian. Frank scotty who is now 90 used to work with cosby on his show back in the 80s. Scotty says he shelled out thousands of dollars on cosbys behalf and he has receipts to prove it. A lawyer for cosby says scottys claims are pure speculation. The latest woman to come forward against cosby is renita cheney hill. She says she appeared in picture pages, cosbys educational program, when she was just a 15yearold model. I always thought it was odd that after i had this drink i would end up in my bed the next day and i wouldnt remember anything. It just felt weird to me and i remember still being in high school saying to him, you know, ill come see you, but i dont want a drink. It makes me feel funny. Cosby is still performing and received a standing ovation during a performance in melbourne, florida, on friday. Cosbys Art Collection continues to be displayed at the smithsonians african art museum. Bruce leshan is live at the National Museum of african art with that part of the story. Bruce . Reporter yeah, lesli, the museum says it is all about the art, but, of course, bill cosby loaned the museum the art and the exhibit is really built around his personality, his fame. There are quotes from him on the walls of the exhibit and he appeared at the museum to tout it. Now some critics are saying it should be pulled. No, no, we dont answer that. Reporter okay. I just wanted to ask if you wanted to respond all about whether any of that was true. Theres no response. Reporter it was cosbys Publicity Campaign for the exhibit that helped catapult the rape allegations against him on to the national stage. He declined to answer an a. P. Reporters questions on november 6 and then tried to intimidate the reporter into scuttling his nonanswers. I think if you want to consider yourself to be serious that it will not appear anywhere. Reporter the smithsonian calls the works. Ed by cosby one of the preeminent private collections of African American art and it plans to display them until february 2016. In its new statement the museum says the exhibition does not imply any position on the serious allegations that have been made against cosby, but Washington Post art critic phillip tenecot says the museum may need to do more. They wanted the prestige of cosbys name. They wanted a celebrity. So they really built it around him as a public figure and now were seeing that public figure potentially sort of collapsing around them and to say were not going to get involved in the controversy, that doesnt feel like its quite adequate at this point. Reporter but it was tough to find people outside the museum who thought the exhibit should go. Isnt this a land where youre innocent until Proven Guilty . I agree they are horrible allegations, but at the same time its bigger than him. I dont think they should take the collection down, but certainly i dont think they should ask mr. Cosby to make any appearances. Reporter nbc, netflix, tvland, the desert diamond, the Treasure Island casinos all have cut ties to cosby or canceled shows involving him, but at this point the smithsonian has not joined that list. Lesli, back to you. Tonight we are hearing from the sister of Navy Yard Shooter aaron alexis. Naomi alexis says her brother suffered from Severe Mental Health problems that began when he was a child. Gm says its technology will allow drivers to take their eyes off the road while the car does the driving. This is a little tense. He came into my lane and its hitting the brakes, slows you down and i stayed in my lane. The car will only do the driving if the supercruise is engaged and the seat will vibrate to alert the driver if he needs to take over. My seat vibrated. It dropped my speed limit.
