Theyve been keeping in touch on facebook through the years, but that ended thursday when he like many others watched the news of a shooter on campus. Paul would soon learn fellow fsu grad myron may was the gunman who leftthree lepeop injured includ ing one critically. Students ran for cover inside the library before Police Fatally shot may. I was shocked. I was confused. I was kind of all over the place. I felt the pit of my stomach just really confused, really dazed. I didnt understand. Paul describes may as a leader on campus, dedicated, smart and focused on getting his law degree. Theres nothing i can point to that says that he was trouble or that he had mental illness. The dust is still settling. Its still fresh. Its still confusing. I dont know. The Postal Service told paul there is nothing hazardous in the package, but they are not sharing the consent its of them right now. Paul says he knows a the contents of them right now. Paul says he knows a few people on the list but not all eight people the packages were sent to. What do you make of the timing of this new executive order . Why not wait until congress convenes and try to get some bipartisan support . Well, i think thats what a lot of people on capitol hill are asking, especially the republicans. Its basically come down to this, jan. The president said theyve had time enough to do something. Hes tired of waiting on they, so he decided to take executive action and he said if you dont like what i do, pass a law and change it which is a lot easier said than done.
