The number of people who got sick aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship is rising after a fast moving stomach virus swept the explorer of the sea. Alexis christoforous reports from bayonne, new jersey, where the ship just returned to port. Reporter the voyage is over for passengers aboard the explorer of the sea. The ship returned to new jersey after nearly a week of sickness at sea. It was violent for about 24 hours like the first 12, 14 hours of it. It was really, really bad. So far the exact cause of the illness is unknown, but if the cdc says it is indeed the norovirus, it would be the worst outbreak on a cruise ship in two decades.
