If you could share those situations a little bit sooner so that the pain is still there and its still felt, but it doesnt sting for as long, okay . Youre killing me. So how do you know if your child is bullied . The mom in our story noticed her daughter was retreating to her room. She thought it was because she was annoying her daughter, but it was actually ellas way of reacting to a bully. The warning signs here are especially if your child suddenly doesnt want to be with a regular group. On private property, possess up to 2 ounces of marijuana and grow up to six plant if youre 21. Were a corporate juice delivery company. Reporter last year wusa9 spoke to the owner of one of these businesses delivering weed. We sell core pressed juice. Anybody that sells highspeed and gets cannabis, thats chma wrote about a brandnew one called higher focus. These are a few others. We reached out to all of them. They either didnt respond, politely declined to speak on camera or their lawyers told them not to, but they all have websites, some with video and they certainly arent hiding their business. What we want to know is whats the deal with these groups . Are they actually legal . Have they found some great mythical loophole to sell weed when technically theyre not supposed to . In order to answer that we figured we would come here and speak to a guy who probably knows Marijuana Law better than anything else because he actually helped to write it. So come on. My name is Adam Eidinger and i was the proposer of initiative 71 that legalized marijuana in the district of columbia. I collected the signatures in this house actually. We voted on legalization without commercialization. As the author of the law, as someone who has consulted multiple lawyers to interpret what we wrote, theres nothing money for marijuana and if the government can establish thats breaking the law. Reporter d. C. Police says these type of Delivery Services that were selling x product and giving it as a gift are illegal and they said people have been prosecuted for it. I checked with the attorney general, though, and the only person or group who seems to have actually been prosecuted is kush gods which was different because they didnt have a product going with the marijuana. So if it is illegal, theres this other question of why are these groups able to operate so out in the open which to me as an outsider is like oh, maybe they actually have found a loophole, but youre pretty adamant they havent. Its possible theres adequate evidence to prosecute them at this time. Its possible d. C. Police dont think it needs to be prioritized. It is still illegal, but there are a lot of other more serious things going on. Were merchants that were tired of paying taxes to the United Kingdom and to a king that they had no say over what he did. I think in d. C. What you have with these entrepreneurs who are saying if marijuana is legal, we should be able to do this, is theyre acting kind of like those early patriots. While they are breaking the law, you know, theyre trying to change the law through their actions. The next step is Congress Getting out of the way and letting us write our own laws here. Shortly after the initiative 71 passed a congressman from maryland inserted a rider into the budget bill to try to stop legalization.
