Three people have been arrested after a suspicious vehicle was found near the pentagon. Pentagon police noticed that car around 7 30 this morning near a parking lot and wires were sticking out of one of the doors and the three machine inside didnt seem to be conscious men inside didnt seem to be conscious. When officers approached, the driver tried to take off and stopped. The driver was given a breathalyzer test and found to be heavily intoxicated. There was a wire protruding from the drivers side of the vehicle which is a telltale sign, danger sign. While the wire turned out to be after subsequent investigation a power amp cable, a speaker cable. The three men are in custody and police are still investigating. Well, we now know the name of the man shot at Union Station friday. 57yearold William Thomas jr. Was shot by a Security Guard after the guard said he saw thomas stab a woman at the securities and exchange commission. The guard chased him from the sec to crowd Union Station and said they shot thomas after thomas lunged at them. Hundreds of people ran for cover. No one else was hurt. The woman who was stabbed is recovering. Police arrested a man for touching a woman without her consent, then evaded police bioscoping into the Wheaton Metro station running by escaping into the Wheaton Metro station running into the tunnel. The alleged unwanted touching happened around 10 00 friday night. Metro had to suspend Service Three hours friday night on the red line while they searched for smith. Smith was charged with sex offense, assault and trespassing. A Prince Georges County woman is dead after a crash on the George Washington memorial parkway. Lucy camilla green died after hitting a tree around 4 20 a. M. This morning south of the spout run parkway. Southbound lanes of the parkway were closed several hours and no word yet on the cause. Tonight in Prince Georges County the Fire Department is investigating a massive Apartment Fire that displaced nearly 50 people in temple hills and so far its not believed to be arson, but firefighters are still looking into that damage. Tonight neighbors tell Stephanie Ramirez that several young families lost everything. Reporter this is the cell phone video victoria cassamer took while visiting her cousin last night, the flames completely engulfing a major section of this temple hills apartment building. There was a lady who just came home from the hospitaller when baby and she had to get out hospital with her baby and she had to get out of the house. She lost everything. Reporter cassamer and her sister helped them. We took them milk, bread, Peanut Butter and jelly to make sandwiches for the kids. Theres so many kids. Reporter a red cross spokesperson confirmed the fire destroyed 21 units at the union creek apartments. The fire happened 7 00 friday night, but earlier this afternoon there were still dozens of families working with the red cross trying to find a hotel. If not a hotel, the red cross was helping families reach relatives, get medical attention or file insurance claims. The total number of people affected, 28 adults and 18 children.
