Its gained more than 1,000 signat. Ures i have nothing against it. I think he was an important figure in the city. Reporter the brothers suggest h street and bening road, both northwest and northeast. But they would be open to other suggestions. We see the fact that h street and bening road is undergoing such a positive redevelopment, its definitely a testament to marion barry and the fact that he helped get to us this point. I think this would be an awesome street. If they are going to name any street, why not h street. I feel like h street has a brand and a sense of purpose and people really like it, so i wouldnt mess with that. This student just took a class on the life of marion barry. Basically kind of focused on all the scandals around him, and obviously some not so pretty things, but, you know, i think he did a lot of good for the city. I dont know how i feel about a street named after him. The whole drug thing he was involved in. I just dont know if thats something that the city needs to do. If you are going to change it, way think this is the person to change it for. If not for him, then who else would get this type of honor. A wave of low pressure is going to move along this front and produce that potential for the wintry mix. So you can see here on satellite and radar plenty of clouds and just a thin line of showers. But that will actually start to kind of coalesce as it heads toward us and become stronger. An area of low pressure is going to give us a better chance for showers as we head into tuesday. Here we are as you are heading home on monday evening, looking at just light, scattered showers. Still mild temperatures. Temperatures will still be in the 50s, even 60s as youre heading home from work on monday evening. But that cooler air starts to move in during the overnight hours, and by the time youre heading to work on tuesday morning, pinks and yellows, or pinks and blues indicating the potential for wintry weather. The most likely scenario in the district and points north and west is for some sleet pellets mixing in. In the higher elevations, the best potential is for snow. But as we head toward nineteen and into the afternoon, all that wintry weather lifts to the north, and were back to just rain here. Even that will get out of here as we head into tuesday night and early wednesday morning. So overnight it is going to be partly cloudy, breezy and mild, 44 to 50. Winds 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow morning partly to mostly cloudy so its still dry, and its still mild with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Winds 5 to 10. In the afternoon, 56 to 64, so another mild one.
