Not a big storm but the timing is horrible during the rush hour. Lets start with satellite radar combined. Clear skies overhead. Some high clouds moving in overnight. Clouds here by dawn. Ken molestina has reminders for staying safe when youre on the road. Most people who are injured in snow storms are injured when their car slides off the road or skids off the road. So you have to be extremely cautious. That was John Townsend from aaa. Keeping in mind what he said, here are three tips that you should consider when taking a look at your tires. First one, make sure the tread is good. They should be looking at how much depth they have on the tires, like how much life left. You dont want to be driving on the snow on a tire that has no life expectancy. , according to a tire expert, was the biggest reason why people were slipping and sliding during carmageddon. Bald tread or no tread will get you nowhere. Always be sure that your tires are properly inflated. You dont want to have High Pressure on the tire. You want to have the correct tire pressure. Lastly, you want to make sure that your tires are the proper ones. All season tires, winter. You definitely dont want to drive around with summer tires because they will take longer to stop, you could be fish tailing all over the place. Failure to consider these tips could result in a horrible commute. According to John Townsend youre not only causing problems for yourself, youre wreaking havoc on everyones rush hour.
