They chose to go out to a nightclub. We honored that. It was age appropriate, 18 and above. Drinking, she was not 21. We hesitated at first because we was than the familiar with the area but we trusted her judgment. All Three Friends simply going on a trip to celebrate Different Things in their lives. Patients carter on the left, attended University City high school, tiara parker in the middle went to West University high, akyra murray only graduated from west catholic last week, shes the youngest of all of the 49 victims killed. Chris, is this in your career one of of the toughest things you have had to go through. With the exception of 9 11 absolutely. You know just being here in orlando seeing the sadness and victims, and just the senseless killing. But then again over the last 24 hours were seeing this city, they called the city beautiful orlando. It really showed its true colors. That is coming out. We saw lines around the blood banks. Were even seeing cemeteries, offer free cemetery plots to the victims. Those are the kinds of things you may in the hear about that is going on here in this city as it absolutely is coming together for their own. What has it been like too talking with some of the first responders. I remember when we were doing a story yesterday people were talking about what it was like to walk into a nightclub and see the aftermath, and hearing the cell phones ringing . Reporter yeah, it was a chilling first responder, kind of documenting that haunting sight and sound he heard when he walk into the pulse nightclub and for hours identifying bodies, afterwards that the cell phones, and the persons and pockets of the dead lying on the floor will haunt him forever and dozens of them and those phones were ringing through the night and during the crisis, those three women from philadelphia, folks back home were calling them during this ordeal, they were calling them telling them they were shot on the floor. You just cant imagine what these people went through. So, did you get information that the three philly young ladies were they all huddled together. Reporter they were in the same bathroom on the floor, from what they have described, what tiara parker describe to me, soon after the gun man came in, they huddled inside the bathroom, they were all shot at that point and they waited there, in the bathroom, much of that time with omar mateen. He was talking to them. He was talking to them. Talking about motive. Talking about why he did this. He said this wasnt against black people, this was against for americans killing people in iraq, he said. To one of the victims. So, they literally came facetoface eye ball eye ball with a mass murderer, something not many people can say. One thing we keep hearing or keep things circulating that came out of of your story as well, they believe he didnt act alone. Did you get that from your interview with tiara. Reporter i did. Tiara was very convinced that someone else was shooting, keep in mind there were other people shooting, there were Law Enforcement officers but she said there had to have been someone else in there. She kept saying that. That it is not been substantiated but what we can say local reports now are indicate ago this there may be a second arrest. There may be someone connected with this possibly not in florida, so, there is definitely investigators are looking into an accomplice in this whether that accomplice was there at this point, police are saying that is not the case but who knows, were getting new details literally hour by hour down here. They think they will be able to see the body and claim that body and bring her back to philadelphia sometime this week but they have been given no indication, were not sure when patients carter will be out. So i always have a contain inner my car that has crackers, Peanut Butter crackers, gold fish, water, water is really important. Sun screen and bug spray. Well, we know that sun screen is important so sun screen and hats, items i have here in my trunk arent big bottles would you apply before you leave the house but reapplication process. So things, nice wide sticks that will not melt ape run into your kids eye, they are really important. If you get kid doing Healthy Habits early wearing hats, really helps them in the long run. We know good habits start early. I can see why this is good one having a first aid kit ready. First aid kitty love prepackaged won but i add a few things in my first aid kit. Lah large ban aid because there are enough enough, tylenol or add will in the preparation that your children are able to take so my kid are older so they can swallow a pill but if you have younger pills, kid, having a chewable or melt away product is perfect. Liquid dont hold up to the carve well. And wipes, in case something happens, you spill something, want to wipe it up. Not clorox wife but baby wipes, unscentable flushable wipes are perfect for sticky fingers. They are making an announcement we are in the station garage, sorry, go ahead. Flushable unscented wipes are great for sticky finger but they are better when you use a portable potty abe we need clean hands and so that is awesome. Now punchos if you need to get out and raining and car stalled. You can use a puncho for anything. It is essentially plastic sheeting. So for a rainy day they are fabulous. But also they are really great for covering a picnic bench, sit on the grass, anything you need to do, wrapping up muddy shoes keeping them out of the car that works well. This last one i find interesting, tape . Why do i need tape. You can do almost anything with some duct tape or athletic tape. You can fix a flip flop, the cooler, you can cover up a if you dont have a bad ate and gauze you you can use tape for that is as well. It comes in so handy. Safe to keep these in the trunk, sometimes if you have some sun screen or something it might melt.
