On it. So it is monday morning but were still thinking about what happened over weekend. Are you in recovery. A little bit. It was a busy weekend, that is for sure. Keep your pictures coming. They are pretty cute. So, friday night, last friday i showed you this new independence beer garden over at sixth and market basically. Opened tuesday night, last tuesday night, and on thursday they had 2200 people show up, so we check it out friday night, chris murphy and i went over there and our friend bob abernathy, oh, somebody from another station showed up too. Hi, jill. I met so many people at the beer garden,. I think saturday i went over to the borgata in Atlantic City and, the chef, jeffery suingarian, he and i hosted a cook being demonstration. I actually learn a lot. Great. I dont eat much. But difficult this yesterday afternoon, when i got back. You made this. I made that, by following his instructions. He said mike keep everything simple. That is simply a bowl of pasta. I got your extra Virgin Olive Oil in there. I got a stick of butter. And then, do you know you are supposed to never break your pasta in half and put it in the bowl. Why is that. But it is bad. It is bad. It will slip down in there. And then you cook it only to 70 percent. El dente. Take it out, put it in the olive oil ape butter and finishing off. Then we dont over cook our pasta. You are not supposed to rinse it. Do not rinse it. Because it takes the starch off. Pour pasta water in there at the the end, best pasta i ever had. Then that night i stayed over at borgata, is that a fantastic place. Borgata has these dream beds. Yes. This is too rich for my blood. I have had that dream. Heres other thing people at borgata told me they have been packed summer. There were lines to get in the great restaurant. Why does that place make it. And other casinos are closing. Well, they do as a matter on have fact. I saw a lot of bachelor parties all over the place. But before i ran into them at about midnight, i went to a John Foggerty concert. Wow. Yes. Here is my crap i video. Drop that banner for a second. That could be anybody. It could be anybody. I had a few cocktails at this point but i wanted to show this because there were a lot of young woman who went to see this 07 yearold guy. It was one of the best shows i have seen in ten years that woman loves it. She is probably 25 years old. Did she throw anything on stage. No, i didnt see anything thrown at him. Hit him right in the face. He looks great. And also my daughter was very busy, my little granddaughter teddy, she was taken on her first fishing trip. First cast. She caught a whooper. Wow look at her. They look fabulous doing witt her fink fishing pole and ballerina dress. Yes. She looks so adorable. She cannot stop wearing princess outfits good that is all they do, avery wears them to sleep. At one point she ripped it off, so excited about catching a fish, she ran in the water, butt naked. Do you have the other one. Apple doesnt fall farrah part. It is probably best that we dont show that. All right. You know something i thought about over the weekends this is how my brain thinks. Every time i john kerry. I would have been kerry kerry. Yes. It is no the good. Okay. What did you do. This weekend. Yeah. Oh, my gosh, so boring, so we just moved. So i spent all weekend unpacking boxes. And that is about the extent of my life this weekend. Avery spent sometime jumping on trampoline. Look at her hair. Static electricity. She loves, loves, loves that. You have a trampoline in the backyard. It came in the house. So dangerous. They charge awe lot more for your home owners insurance. We will tell them that were going to sell it. Why dont do i this swing by the house, break averys arm right now, put it in a cast. It does have the the shielding around it. The net. Yes. Yes. It is right next to the pool so if she does jump or break an arm, yes. Really good. Yeah. She had more fun then i to this weekend. This just in, sigh had a date with her husband. We went to the movies, yes. Yes. We saw the mark rufalo movie, we had him talking about begin again, yes. Yes. Well, he is annex record executive who finds her and well, that is his daughter in the movie, haley, somebody. And, anyway he is kind of down on his luck but then he meets her and then shes the exgirlfriend of adam le vine. Very confusing. Adam le vine got married over the weekend in real life. Yes. Benat i is her name. Yes. You better be good looking. Shes beautiful. Anyway, it was a good movie. Very romantic. My only critique is we said we wished that adam le vine was a little bit of a better actor and kiera knightly was a better singer. Should have had reversed rolls. It would have been weird though. But shes a box office draw. So, did you do what you normally do on friday night at a movie, fall asleep. No, because we went sunday afternoon. Very smart. Any action. Well. Behave. That is an affirmative. Yes. I had not one second of alone time over the weekend. Im or toy hear that or glad to hear that. No, but where i go to get alone time is simply in my apartment because i live alone and pry ten not to be there when people text me. But how about this, this woman is so annoying. Chris jener, says this is where she escapes. I just cant. We need to stop. To alone time. Those are her feet propped up as shes flying. That is her 15 you this dollars bag over there. Sure. And there is a second behind it. Yeah. She is on her private jet going somewhere, yeah, so she says, this is where she gets her alone time. So she had her daughters, courtney, kim, chloe card dash an and their grandchildren. Yes, it is so annoying. Only place i am ever alone, lol. So lol makes it funny. Yes. Lets get the opinion of the busy moms that i get to work with, and there is one, jen right there juggling everything. She has a tv career, kids. We have kerry, you have two kids now. You have got a teenager for god sake. Teenager. Shes 17 now. Lets start with jen. When do you get alone time. I dont get ant which is why im crabby all the time. You know, i complain about it, to steve. I said off loan time every night at 8 30 when i go to bed. 8 30 to 11 30 he is ordering up, things on amazon and stuff. It is hard. Because your brain needs to come down a little bit. If you think bit, were on our phone on the way to work. Then we are at work dealing with people and having fun. And then, the second we get in our car we are calling babysitter, calling the boss because we forgot to this. And we will get there and wait to see our kids, we have to hang with them. I was at borgata at lunch yesterday, everybody around me was on their cell phone looking at stuff like this. So even, like when you are flying on a airplane. It used to be alone time to yourself. You are still using your brain doing stuff. Heres the new thing that i have discover since i had my second. It used to be in my car with my alone carry didnt to have do anything. I could veg out, listen to the laid ohio. Heres how it all change as we discussed on the previous shows. Im pumping. So my husband, bought me a hand free bra, it has two little slits in the front. I put my hooter head over it. I have a char charger for my pumper. Strap those sucker on. I pump as i drive down the road. If i pull up next to you on the schuylkill. You will see that going on. Yeah. And they are filing. You have a hooter hugger. That is what i put over it. You will see it. Are you pumping right now and we dont know it. I didnt even necessity that thing existed. Oh, yeah. That is multi tasking. What about your alone time. I get plenty because my kiddies 17. She doesnt want to be with us. So she goes down the basement, but i love my drive to work. What is she doing in the basement. Playing video games. She has a bunch of stuff going on. Sneak nothing boys,. Yes, while im sleeping. So no private jets for the three of you. Let get back to this breaking news out of fishtown my goodness. Philadelphia police confirming that an officer did fire his gun in the just a short while ago in the 1800 block of beaver street this is sky fox getting a closer look. You can still see police activity. We have details about how and why this shooting happen. Apparently it happened after police pulled over a red pickup truck. We are not seeing that truck in this particular shot. We dont know what that truck is doing. We can tell now one was hurt. Suspect, guy driving that truck is in custody and we are still piecing together what happened and what led this office tore fire his gun in the first place. There is the gun over there to the left. Yeah, keep going, keep going, yeah. I cannot tell. Yes. They are getting evidence. That has to be it. Okay. Guy is in custody, right. Guy is in custody. No one was hurt. Sky fox will stay over the scene and we will bring you latest as we get more details. Collette 12. We have told about this last week that some parents are hiring people to swing by, and, poddy train their kids for pay, professional poddy trainers. Well now there is somebody out there that will help you, have your baby take a nap, having trouble in the afternoon putting down the kid to go to sleep. We used to put her in the car. Drive around until she fell asleep. They put their kid in the car seat, on of the of the washing machine, the vibration. Is that right. Absolutely. I was so sleepy and she would not take a nap. It would inn tour eighth me good would you pay 400 for an eight week package. Tell me what it includes. A phone consultation with a parent reveal their babies sleep and eating happen brits they come over as well as their bathroom breaks. Are they on schedule for pooping. A personalized sleep schedule is made up for you and the sleep whisperer, stays in contact with the family on a daily basis. Parents can shell out, up to 3,500 for year long membership which includes an overnight stay. They will lay down with the kids and whisper in their ear. Yes, they come to your house. They lay down with your kids and whisper in your ear. They do what they have to do while you are in the other room to get the kid to sleep. Or they make you stay outside the bedroom and you are trying not to go in the bedroom. It is the worst. It is the worst. Cry it out. I never had my kids do that. I could never hold out for are long. We got lucky, avery and jay are good sleepers. Avery at three and a half still takes a five and a half hours nap and she still sleeps 12 hours. Really. We drug it. Im teasing. But my sister said have you talk to the doctor. Something may be wrong with her. I dont care if there is, i like to sleep. Shes fine. Shes fine. She is like her mom. I have Child Protective Services on the phone, im calling them right now. Jay ace good napper but we dont. He is john barrett the fourth because my husband is the fourth but we have so many johns on my husbands side and my side that we call him jay. A lot of johns. Yes. Everybody is a winner in the rory mcilroy family. Did you watch the british open. His daddies cashing in on a bid he made ten years ago. Sue what did he do. Roar difficult win the british open this weekend but ten years ago his father placed a bet with the Gaming Company that roar would i win the open championship, jug, the the trophy, wye the age of 25. So he went in and bet. By the age of 26. All right. Well, he won the bet, and guess what he won . 170,000. His dad did. He believed in his kid. No pressure, kid, by the way. Meanwhile, rory is the third youngest player to win three of the majors, tiger woods was the other one and Jack Nicholas was the other. Ten years ago, 500 to one. Yep. So that is about 15. What . The kid was 15. Rory was 15 and his dad realized he would be a great golfer. He had to get it done by the time he is 26. Twentyfive now. He turns 26 may the fourth of next year. He got it done just in time. He could not have waited one more year. You know what i noticed too, this rory mcilroy has been winning and playing so much better golf since he dumped his fiance. It always happens that way. We had that as a big story. He gotten gauge and said they sent out wedding announcements. And that freaked him out, invites. That is who he was with. Why did he dump her. Caroline. He said he wasnt ready. He is 25. That is young i guess. Yes. Check this out shes doing better too since they broke up. She won her first tournament of years. It comes months after they split, you mentioned that maybe it is the whole relationship was blocking their professional success. There are sports teams that say you are not allowed to have sex before a big game because it interferes with your focus. Less pressure. You have cleared your head of the relationship. Perhaps that is it. So young anyway. How about tiger woods he played horribly and he has been playing golf ever since he stopped having affairs. Well, that is true. Now he is concentrating on one woman. And it is ruining him. Maybe there is something to that. He needs to break up. Remind me again what these millennials are people born in their 20s and 30s. They are now in their 20s and 30s. We obviously need to look this one up. In their 20s. Just say like 24 to 34. Or around the 1999, 2,000ish. They are not getting married. They are out pacing every other generation before them simply because they are not getting married. They are on track to have lowest rates of marriage by age 40 compared to anybody that came before them. If the current pace continues, more than 30 percent of the Millennial Women will be unmarried by age 40. That is twice as many as those in generation x and by the way, this is all according to findings from the urban institute report, and social scientists are weighing in on exactly why this is and they say it is diminish importance of marriage. You dont need to be married to be successful anymore. Are they still in relationships, still living with people and still having people. They are not putting a ring on it. When we talk about think was watching this marriage show because my daughter jill is getting married august 9th. It says it is a common theme now, to have your children, there at the wedding to go walk down the aisle. Like jessicas just did. Yes. Kacie, again, did you not get engaged over the weekend. No, difficult not. Are you going to marry this guy or not this aaron murray. He is all right. I will keep him for a while. Would you, do you have a date, i mean, age you want to be married by. So first of all, backtracking, millennials are people born 1980 to 2,000. So that whole entire rage. So 20, 30 years old. I know myself, im still 23. I have lot of 23 yearold friends. One of my girlfriend is in a year long relationship. She just bought her own apartment. Shes not moving in with this guy. She has a job, apartment. Another girl friend has a baby. Shes a financial planner. Shes dating a guy from work. Another example of a woman being single, having a career and keeping that totally separate. So i agree with this. Im one, im not having a problem. Would i get married but i think it is all timing and people are very career oriented. I know among my friends everybody is career oriented. A lot of girls have boyfriend. Heres the thing how important is marriage to you. Very important. You want to be married. For me i am a little bit more traditional than my generation in that i want the very traditional wedding, i want to have kids after im married, that is just me. I gotcha. So tomorrow we will do a whole segment on the bachelorit because your soon to be brotherinlaw is in the final two. He is. Strawberry short cake called and she want her dress back. She cant have it. Very cute though. It is cute. 9 20, almost. Still ahead, there is Nothing Better than fresh food in the summer and in one knows that more than a guy named luke. Brought in a mountain of seafood and. Look at that. And that is all for me. Umhmm. Ill tell you where you can get that mountain after you know, summer is synonymous with sea food. Chef luke is serving up a mountain of it. With the mountain of meat, well, seafood anyway, heres mike. Luke is right here. That is your fiance. Yeah. Look at his fiance. Luke is doing well. No. The guy in the blue shirt. Im just kidding. Luke, good to see you. Good to see you where are you. In linwood, new jersey. Yes, seasonal thai chicken, and chicken and stake north field, we have a Catering Company in south injuriesy are you coming to East Passyunk avenue. Yes, i will be there. This is unbelievable. You have brought a hundred tane of seafood. Tell me everything on this platter this means, lean capon. Rich people would eat capon and fisherman would eat lobster. I know what capon is that is a castraited rooster. I know my capon. We have razor clams, oyster, lab ter, shrimp, local shrimp and vegetables. We do this dish to preparation. What is that. South verde is parse i, garlic, capers, Virgin Olive Oil, it is a sauce that goes with it. It is clams. That is a clam. That was living. We just chopped it you have. Mint, garlic, extra Virgin Olive Oil, lemon juice, real sim. Would you serve this. What does it cost 300. Well this portion, yes. It noise that the much. On the menu we do a smaller version but we wanted to make a nice big one here for you now the claw, lot of people like the tail of the lobster. I like the claws. I like the claws too. Me too. They call that the knuckle. That is the the knuckle. That is right. Oh, man. You know that lobster used to be considered peasant food. That is right. This dish dates to the 15th century and it was peasant food for fisherman. While rich were eating capon, fisherman were eating lobster, shrimp and clams and oyster. Would i rather do this, wouldnt you. You get this that rim from 3mile island, it is gigantic. Wait until you try that. Now, i was told by a chef, that he tried to say 2pound lobsters and below because he thought this was smaller, better the taste. I agree. Once they get larger it is hard to keep them tender. They get tough. They get older. Over 2 pounds is like 30 or 40 years old. That is good. It is almost overwhelming, chef. How about it. What is in here. These are peppers. Peppers from the garden. Yes, hold this for me. Let me see. By the way, glad to see you. How about that. Yes. I used to work in the flower shop. I had no idea. Yes. Take ate way, thanks, luke. I will see you at the restaurant. Thank you, thank you. I am and carousal, and, for auction, what makes this so special, and why it could be worth millions on the auction block, coming up on good day philadelphia test test. All right, ive locking forwards to this. In seaside, since 1910, this carousel. Chris, how can i even bid on this stuff . Good morning. Well, absolutely. In fact, as i want you to check something out here. Look at the detail work here. This was made in philadelphia, in 1910, as you said, and then moved from Burlington County to seaside, in 1932. Fiftyeight hands carved figures, to charriots, original, decorative trapping, the historic organ there. However, theyll auction this off. If a private buyer doesnt come forward. So, we are going to be joined now by the president of the auction house, arlin he had inning err, thanks for being with us. What do you think will happen . Look, todays the day where were announcing this sale, and we certainly hope and are trying our very best to find a buyer, whether here in seaside, or in philadelphia, or some other town, that would love to have this beautiful and historic carousel in their town. If that fails, though, sometimes until the fall there will be an auction every things animals one by one. This is worth millions. , in coney island they had one not nearly as nice as this go for 2 million bucks. Sold to the city of new yorkment and you think could fetch to up 3 million . Well, this situation is sim floor that coney island one, privately owned, what we were able to sell to the city for 2 million, that one, unlike this, was un restored, wasnt working all that well, had far fewer animals. We think this is much more valuable than that one. So, 3 million is probably a good guess. What we dont see in our live shot right now are people picketing and protesting this. But you are on the side of the protesters. You want this preserved and not broken up into pieces to sell individually at auction . Thats true. I dont know understand, were all on the same side. Family that owns there is has owned it for a long time, they loch the carousel, but it is their privilege, they have to deal with the economy, the fact that this carousel duck two serious bullets when it was almost destroyed by hurricane sandy, and then the fire that followed so after years every ownership, time for them to move on. But they care greatly about this as we all do. So making every effort to try to find a new home for it in fact. You fired up the music, loud, too loud for us to even hear over, so were not playing it but as we go by there is the organ. What makes that so special . Organ, world its err, maybe know it from the olds juke boxes berks very few operating, in fact, only 150 darr owe sells left in america down from 5,000, a century ago. This is a treasure. It is a historic treasure, riding it right now, i dont think a lot of people would appreciate it for on the surface, but look at the detail, really looking and appreciating four hands carvers, four different carvers, one from philadelphia, who brought this to fruition, and made it such a historic piece. The major carver, and the maker of the whole machine, was the dance he will family from philadelphia, but, everyone of these horses is different from every other one. Not made out after mold. These were original hands carved wooden horse. And can be yours for what 3 million bucks . Well see if the auction in fact happens, and it will be definitely a developing story down the shore as they say, guys, back to you. Chris, ill tempt this, even though you are streaming, so it will be a delay. Is there a possibility that Seaside Heights, the city corks afford 3 million to, i mean, to keep it . Area learnings the question, is there a possibility like you saw at coney island that Seaside Heights the city might be able to cough up the money. Anything is possible. That is been something breached . This has only bye in play for couple every days now, understand that. We instituted discussions with local politicians here, but certainly, reaching out to governor christie. Efforts are being made. So not to be too corny, mike, yes, much like the carousel it serbs moving parts. For sure. That was a good one. But how about the sit of philadelphia . Do you think somebody would i had no idea it was still owned by a singlefamily. You think somebody around here would have the money, or at least they could pull their resources and come up with a way to cope it local . Thats why we want to put it on tv, generate a lot of talk. Put that sucker over at eighth and market. Dismantle it, yes. Guys . Lose that ss united states, the ship, than carousel will go away, still ahead, the stars were shining in ac over the weekends, oh, keith urban was there. What you missed down the shore, for us, plus previewing the ac food and Wine Festival. That is next weekends. Harrahs. Lets talk about Atlantic City, the music of john fogerty who, saturday night, played to a so manyouthouse at the, well, the event center at the beautiful borgata, and water club. Hi, whitneys here. Hey. Who do you work for again . I work for myself and njn. Com. Hi, i saw whitney at our food demonstration at the music box theater at the beautiful borgata. But thursday night, i think this is at the borgata, too. Yes, borgata had pretty big week end. And it was packed. Yes. That place is doing really well. Keith urban was there. Yes, he was. He performed to a sold out crowd. And it took them over a day just to set up the concert there. It was very nice guy. You see him on tv. You think is this really nice, or do you think he was so genuinely nice, really loved him. Thats not my type of music typically, and i enjoyed the concert. I mentioned john fogerty, you know he set up for three hours at the borgata. A sounds check, after all of these he is 70 years old, still cares. Very meticulous, yes. Also, i think borgata, and the Williams Brothers were there. They were there last night. It was cool to have something on a sunday night in Atlantic City. The Williams Brothers there. They will also be in philadelphia, august 2nd, at the tower theater. Just so Everybody Knows here. But, they were great. They all Four Brothers performed, it was one of the best comedy shows ive seen in a long time, really laughed the whole entire time, so fun. I by the way Jerry Seinfeld will be back at the boring gat a. And aid great time saturday afternoon, they bring chefs in. You know, the culinary consultant at the water club is at chef jeffrey z a k a rian. We did little cooking demo. You were the host, and did you a great job. Thank you. And that was packed. It was packed. It was cool. People want to learn. s iron chef. So people want to hear, learn from him, and ask questions, which was really cool. So i think it was great that all of these people got to ask what was going on, what casino every oil he was using, what type of food they are using for the demonstration. Yes. Cool. Oh, guy ciari watch did he do . Well, he opened, the chop house at ballys, the only steak house in his brand. It is at ballys Atlantic City. And i ordered the prime rib, because somebody suggested it, i felt like i was in the flintstones cartoon. It was huge, huge, reallyintrt. It was really good. Guy drive into the diners and dives on the food network. With the spike i blondes hair . Yes. Did you get a shot of him. No, i didnt. Boy, so concentrated on food. I no, i like to eat. My goodness. Oh, going mint ice cream. Go with the food every time. Exactly. Did you run into the family been down there all week. I did, actually, john stevens, the associate head coach of the la kings, he was there at harrahs. They had viewing party. I was able to meet him and interview him which was pretty cool right next to the stanley cup. Look at you. I know. All dressed up. He has a life. Feels really good. Thank you. Bags un your eyes . Next weekends, harrahs, though the roof. Ac food and Wine Festival taking place ceasars Entertainment Properties in Atlantic City hosted by Martha Stewart. Ceasar thats. Yes. Oh, i said harrahs. Same thing, ceasars, ballys, harrahs, different events throughout the different properties, mostly take egg place in front every ceasars, in front of the beach, marketplace, there is the bruce, bus and barbeque. Triple b. Robert iron vine will be there. From restaurant impossible . Correct. Good to see you. Great to see you, too, mike. All right, finally time. Jen is going to zip line live on television. Shes been working her way up. Oh, good. Clip you on to the zip line now. Now that youre clipped on. Use the pull. I again, weaver to tell people typically people have to do this all for themselves. They do. Take little class, like 15 minutes, and then they kind of know what theyre doing. In a few weeks youll have this new system where the kids will be hooked in through the entire course. Right . Correct. It is called they dont have to do anything with the clips. Now, she said i shouldnt try and break myself. Do you agree with that . Just at the very end. She grabs on a little too tight. Thats why she stops little too soon. So just nice and easy, dont even have to grab t just put pressure on the zip. All right. You will have no problem. So, i put me on top. If you think i should have my glove on top . Because your glove is going to be on top. All do you have do is reach back then. Underneath. Im a limb nervous. And i like were not totally banging into something. Now you can look better over here. Take my clamps off. Hold on. This is the hardest part, figuring out where im supposed to be clamped. I understand, when i did it in saint martin, it was not as well organized, and the lessons are better here. President of the zoo wants you to know about the elk. We are mary, matilda, the babe. I that is kind of cool oh, my goodness. Theyre right there. You get a high point. You have to go down the thing. Do you have un click, that, too, put it on your rope. I do . Again, mike, kerrey, part of the problem here is that i have to do my own work around here. Right . All right, hold on. We have one more. Mike the photographer, up on the spot for me thing . Here we go. Go over there. So youre not on the platform. Oh, we have 30 seconds left. Come on, jen. I want to see it from this way. All right, baby. Here we go. Go for it. What is it, 29 bucks, 44 bucks, something . Little different. Little. So, i guess, there may be more sultry, maybe shears doing the sound track for the movie . I think thats what it is. Not releasing official trailer i guess until thursday. Cant wait. Really . No. When is this stinking movie finally going to come out . Not soon enough. Long way off. Not really about love. No. There are a lot of keys, keyholes in the trailer. Oh. Trains, tunnels, donuts. Hey, kim kardashian, kanye west, have hired a body double. This will make you vroome nature cheerios. Really . Say hi to body doubles for the babe. I is this is the baby or is this the double . Thats the real babe. I okay, the real baby. According to the newspaper, the couple paid half million bucks to find look alike for their child and for their nanny. So they held auditions, for this, apparently all in an effort to protect their 13 month olds baby north from paparazzi. Should have given her more nondescript name. Katie homes and tom cruise had hired decoys for surrey. You know how that turned out. Gossip columnist, johanson getting married. Oh . She is pregnant already.
