Mostly heat stroke, just dont calm down, so theyre panting excessively hard. Cant seem to catch their breath. See a loft as p, wheezing noises, even inside on the airconditioning still casino of pacing or restless or sometimes just laying there casino of raw but panting, as if they were running around. So is there any time frame, not settling down five minutes of coming in. How cold it is inside. So bring them into nicely cool airconditioning, i would sort of say it is about as long as it would take for to you cool down. So takes me maybe 15, 20 minutes or so, nice cool airconditioning, for them to calm down. As long as theyre Getting Better and better and breathe something turning back to normal, thats okay. But if it is not, and if you notice any of the other signs, start to get dizzy, they collapse, they can have a seizure, things like that. Then definitely those are things that they should bring a dog to a vet for. What is your vice during these summer months . Yesterday heat advisory, in effect, felt like 100 plus all afternoon long. Obviously you still have to take the dog out watch do you suggest for pet owners . How often should you take them out, how long do you stay out . Any sort of vigorous exercise or loss of activity should be done in Early Morning hours or very late in the evening where it is nice and cool. If you have to let them out in the middle of the day, lots of dogs do, have them go outside come right back in. Another issue fireworks, going on tonight, tomorrow, all weekend, and the thunder so loud last night, what do you suggest when dogs and cats alike start to have the anxiety and stress from hearing the loud noises in.
