Do they need even a whole day to come back and agree with the prosecution, or do they take severa days, because somebody has some reasonable doubt raised by the defense, thats the question. One thing to tell you mike and alex before the judge set to deliberate, they had 14 people in that jury box this whole time. And of course only have 12 people in the jury. So we picked the two alternate, san sent them out. So weve got nine women, three men, in this jury now deliberating. Okay. How much do you explain to your children, especially Young Children, who might, you know, look to up Ariana Grande . And this is important, because Young Children were that the concert. Young children, like Ariana Grande. So bringing in tricia, to help us, unfortunately, had these attacks before. But this is something that even Young Children can relate to. Yes, and this is making them feel much more vulnerable, than a lot of things that have happened in the past so how you approach this will be a little different. Say you have seven, eight, nine year old . Theyre kind of saying mommy, daddy, what happened to Ariana Grande . What happened at her concert . Why do i see team running from the concert . You want to give them information. But you want the information to be concrete wonder if this could happen to me. So theyll associate themselves with the kids who were there, but you want to try to minimize that connection. Do mention children died. Absolutely, be concrete about it. Dont say things like they were lost. Children died. Children were injured. The police are going to catch the people who did this. And theyre going to put every effort into making sure or prevent this from happening again. How the adults naiver got i do your own gut check. Thats what the kids will be doing, we were talking before. If a child hears after house fire theyre not going to not go in houses again, over time, we are built to navigate this media cannot be helpful because the children are re exposed to the images. We know from studies, after 9 11, that kids fared better when they were did not have as Much Television exposure, media exposure, to those devastating images. So very important point. How do you answer that . Listen, engage them to articulate what it is that theyre afraid of. I dont think anybody is running out to a concert tomorrow. But allow them to have that, that experience, of fears, those feelings navigate but over time as you provide predictable secure daily experience their psychology will mean more toward i am safe. As long as the parent have confidence.
