And this program is has made tremendous impact on the kids as you can see in the course of the week. Child life specialists believe the distractions, such as this, amongst traumatic hospital experiences, help the children cope better. And it goes both ways. The partnering with the kids allowed the agent a distraction from their intense and stress ers that they face each and every day. Sometimes it is not the easiest job, deal with different stresses like working with kids like this, and perseverance and the strength that they show every day, it is just great for me and my guys. During the program, the cadets were guided through foreign i can sciences, fingerprinting activities, they conducted mock question sessions with a suspect, even advice the from the judge who let them try on the robe. Other activities, included a fieldtrip to the court of wilmington, where they took a ride on the state police boat and watched the landing after state police helicopter. A general blueprint to teach the basics of law enforcement, the basics of what we do, the evidence collection, the computer forensics, a lot of the very neat things for kids if you will. The programs concluded it the Chester County public Training Facility in coat ville, who graciously donated the resources to include all kind of fire responders. It was exciting. Purex sitement. So cool, it started out giving the kids an opportunity for a distraction, from what they deal where day in the hospital.
