No, in fact, many people dont even know about it, there it is it, goes into the heart, and then gets pumped into the lungs, and thats where you have a major problem. Thats the pulmonary artery, and it gets lodged in one of the lung vest thats leads to blockage and you cant breathe. You have a deep crease in oxygenation. And you can die. In fact, some estimates are that between 60 to 300,000 people die from pulmonary elbow lie and blood clots in the leg. Snow is major major problem. It is a major eye opener, as well. We look at that animation, does that clot present any sort of pain that is moves . In other words, do you feel it in your heart when it goes into the lungs, will you know . Well, in my practice, for 21 years, basically, people will come in, either with swelling of one leg, which is a tell tail sign, if have you that, you better get check out. How much swelling . Show us on the model here. So basically, this is a leg that we have here. And if we take a waste the muscles you can see there are arteries, veins. Make sure. There you go. That blew is a vein. Okay . And the clot can develop in there. And one of the thanks can cause it is setting sitting on airplane a long time. In parks i think we have a couple of risk factors, so in answering your question, so, if you are on a plane, for a long time, if you have had surgery if youre overweight, if you have had prior clots, and by the way, he did have clot in the past. Could kill him . It could. So i think he will be out, standards of care is six months. But, after that, theyll have to reassess, and see whether or not he will need lifelong anticoagulates or not. But, for everyone out, there it is very, very important that you lessen to this. Number one if you have swelling in one leg, go to the doctor. If you have shortness of breath, all the sudden occurs shall your heart rate goes up, go to the doctor. Because you need to deal with this and you need to deal with it quickly. Without the vote, schools may not open on time. There could be layoffs, and class sizes, could soar to roughly 40 students per classroom. City leaders and parents are fighting. Should notice that the children in Philadelphia County are just as important as other counties. We demand the same support to make sure all of our young people receive quality he had that is we should not be politicking on the backs of our children.
