Just heard screaming. And everybody was running from the back toward the front. Didnt know really what we were running from at the time, but i think we new in our gut that it was a bomb. It was an awful lot of children in the arena. And, you know, a lot of them had been separate from the family members, cant imagine how people must be feeling. Saw like a flash, like an explosion flash, and then at that point everyone just running back up the stairs again panicking, screaming, shouting, crying. Yesterday police carried out controlled explosions at the doorstep of his home during raids all around the city. Forensic investigators were seen leaving the home with evidence they also raided a home where the suspects brother lived. There are report the suicide bomber was known up to a certain point to intelligence services, but they provided no more specifics on. Prosecutors say, all of the evidence points to one man. But the defense argues there is reasonable doubt. Lets get out to steve keeley, so of course, reasonable doubt doesnt mean not any doubt. Thats what the jurors are having to face. Well, there is no reasonable doubt the prosecutor told the jury she was the last to speak to them, and her comment there was a quick comeback to creatos lawyer who argued there are so many gaps, and so little hard evidence in the prosecutions case, that there is plenty to raise reasonable doubt about in the jurors minds. The fact that there has been an additional arrest, would lead one to believe that this wasnt just a loan act, loan suicide bomber, and is there indeed a wider terror cell at work here. They have raised the terror alert status, the highest possible level in great britain, which means the military may play a more active role, domestically there, and here at home, there are obviously concerns about gatherings of any size, anywhere, really, and the potential for a terror attack. So, this is a scary situation. I mean, this is one of those things that obviously shouldnt happen. But it is almost unimaginable that a concert attended largely by girls would be in the cross hairs of a terrorist. Clearly looking for, you know, easy soft target, as they say watch do we know about the suspect . Twentytwo year old salman a betsy a british citizen, apparently, we havent learned a whole lot about him at this point. Whether this individual may have been severradicalized, or whether this individual may have been acting at the direction of others, we just dont know yet. Now thomas legal journey is not over yet. Prosecutors could choose to refile charges against him in the coming weeks.
