It is cold, bob, thank you breaking news out of West Oak Lane a teenager has died after being shot inside his home, steve keeley at police headquarters, another young life cut short here, steve. Reporter this just happened five hours ago, his hotter and his older sister are here with homicide detectives right now. This 18 yearold killed lived at home with his mom who said he was still in school. He had prior arrests and under house arrest, wearing an electronic ankle monitor when shot and killed. His mother was at work at the time when this happened at 11 50 just before midnight but rushed right here at north 15th street at 67th avenue inside what police say was an immaculately kept home where first floor has bullet holes in the walls, ceiling, cabinets of all 31st floor rooms where they had fired two guns there outside could see their 18 yearold target inside because their lights were on as he ran from the closed areas to the the front door all the way out back door for his life. We found nine or 10 strike marks inside living room and dining room and kitchen walls inside the house, there were multiple gunshots that went through the front door window. We found bullet holes in the ceiling, on the walls, kitchen cabinets, some of the furniture. He ran out the back door broke in the neighbors window in an effort to get away. We dont have any description of the shoot are or shooters, we just know that there were two separate caliber weapons used, we know that at least 13 shots were fired and it appears that this 18 yearold victim was inside on the first floor of the house where he lives, at the time that he was shot. There was no one else in the house where a shooting took lays. Neighbors were in their house when they ran in the kitchen broke through window and they probably were among many nine is 911 calls right to the scene. But sadly he was hit by two of those 13 shots and pronounced dead at 2 28, hit this is chest and torso. Obvious questions about the motive here for both mom and sister was criminal case, that had him under house arrest and in that electronic ankle monitoring having those trying to quiet him from cooperating or karen and thomas, kill him because he they thought he had already cooperated. Police say they are still investigating a cause but had information about a pickup truck that lost control on 611 southbound and crossed in the northbound lanes that may have caused a fuel truck to lose control and crash on to its side. 4,000 gallons of oil spilled on to the roadway, Officials Say cold weather was actually helping the situation. There was one minor injury reported, there was a fuel leak ensued from the accident, tractor trailer, rately 4,000 gallons. Weve vac waited the nearby residents to a nearby school and the situation is stabilized and we have called hazmat clean up company to come out and take care of the leak that ensued from the accident. Also following breaking news this morning at 5 35, shots ring out this is West Oak Lane neighborhood taking one persons life the victim just 18 years old. This happened on the 6700 block of north 15th street, the teen, was shot twice, once in the left side and one time in the chest. Police rushed him to the hospital where he later died. Based on ballistics evidence we know that at least 13 shots were fired from two separate caliber semi automatic hand guns. We found 13 spent shell casing s in front of the the victims house where he was, when he was shot, and we found shell casings on the sidewalk, front lawn of his house, on the steps, leading up to his house and on the trent porch of the house. It appears natalie shooter or shooters fired at least 13 shots through the front door window of the house. Were told there are no witnesses at this point and motive is unknown. Developing right now, about nine hours ago, there was a big tanker truck full of gas, that flipped over and shut down road for quite a long time. People had to be evacuated.
