At this time it appears that the motive for this shooting was a robbery and just so happened that not only did the 27 yearold home owner who fired four shots have a weapon, two of the females who also live inside the property also had, semiautomatic weapons. However, we dont believe that those females fired any shots. So there is, four semiautomatic weapons as part of the crime scene. The the house on the 6100 block of reese street in philadelphias lawncrest section, we do know, police tell us that the man had been in this home is dead a after being shot by the the home owner. Police say that the dead man was a 35 yearold suspect, who approached the house with the gun wearing a mask. Cops say he confronts a man who is trying to leave the home, only to push that person back inside, that is when police say a third person, being the home owner, pulls out the his gun and then shoots the the suspect in the neck and chest, and that suspect died a short time later. In the basement of this three story row home, we did find what appears to be about a half pound of marijuana. It was a green, weed like substance and a large plastic bag and it appears to be marijuana and has a heavy odor of marijuana a, is there also several hundred dollars, right next to this alleged marijuana and we also found some packaging, materials next to the green weed like substance. So there is very good possibility that this Home Invasion robbery, the motive was, to steel this narcotics related money.
