Reporter well, this 18 yearold lived in this house with his mother and his mother right the here with whom identify detectives at headquarters, trying to find out why her son was killed, and who killed him, but here is a hint, the 18 yearold shot at midnight, right on north 15th street, it is a corner house on the street there, despite the bad weather and the cold, two guys showed up at the front door and shot through the front door, and so his moms at work, chances are they knew that and he was wearing an ankle monitor Natalie Court system used to make sure people under house arrest are staying in their house, except for work, school or for a Court Approved appointment. So it is still too soon after this happened last night at midnight for the initial police on the scene on this latest murder to know, the prior criminal case that resulted in the ankle monitor but the obvious question they have right now with the mother is, was he cooperating as a witness or was someone determined to keep him quiet, going to his house, maybe knowing mom was at work and he was home alone. It appears natalie shooter or shooters fired at least 13 shots through the front door window of the house. Reporter well, they only hit him with two of those 13 shots but they turned out to be deadly hitting him this is chest and torso police tell us and what happened was when this 18 yearold was shot as bullets were hitting the Kitchen Cabinets and breaking up walls in the the house, he goes out his back door, breaks through the kitchen, of his next door neighbors house and that is where police found him and rushed him right to einstein but not fast enough. Those two shots turned out to be deadly. He was pronounced dead before 2 30 last night. So this case not the a Home Invasion for a robbery, obviously these people never got in the house. It happened this West Philadelphia and according to police the robber walk in the 65th and lebanon the deli there with the gun but the owner quickly turned the tables and fired a shot across the counter hitting that suspect four times as his family looked on. Police say they are still investigating a cause that had information about a pickup truck losing control on 611 southbound crossing in the northbound lanes which may have caused the fuel truck to lose control and crash on to its side. 4,000 gallons of oil spilled on to the roadway, Officials Say cold weather was actually helping the situation, helping to mitigate the fumes. There was one minor injury reported, there was a fuel leak ensued from the accident from the tractor trailer approximate thely 4,000 gallons. Reporter yeah his mom and older sister are here with homicide detective trying to figure out who killed him, and why, and the mom says that he was still going to school. Interesting that he had an ankle monitor on. That tells you he had prior knowledge of some kind of case , so somebody or some people wanted to either permanently silence him to keep him from talking or maybe punish him there already cooperating. That initial possible motive here because this 18 yearold killed under house arrest at the time already in this prior criminal case. So that is why he is wearing electronic ankle monitor Natalie Court system uses to keep tabs to make sure those under house arrest are not leaving house except for Court Approved reasons for school or work. Two guns fired in the corner house here at north 15th street at 67th avenue just before midnight just as this 18 yearold was likely seen walking close to that front window with the lights on inside right next to the the front door. Thirteen shots fired. He is hit twice. Chances are the two people shooting at him in the house knew his mom was at work at the time. The shootings were outside the front door firing into the house. We found multiple strike marks inside the house in the living room, the dining room, the Kitchen Cabinets, walls and ceiling. After being shot the victim ran out the back door of his house and then he broke into his nextdoor neighbors kitchen window and that is where police found him in the nextdoor neighbors house. Reporter police got him to einstein. He was only hit by two of the 13 shots but they turned out to be deadly shots hit in the chest and torso and died by 2 30 at einstein sadly. He did make it out of the house as you heard, neighbors likely many of the 911 calls came but chances are those neighbors called 911, they know him and they didnt have any problems with him break nothing they were upset about the shooting here just as everybody inside that neighborhood is right now. So, why . That is why homicide detectives are on right now, they are going through his prior cases. He had other cases as a juvenile at just 18 but they are honing in on that case that was current and active with that ankle monitor right the now and boy, they say this house whats mack late and these shooters may have actually after that window broke they may have just been firing through that hole in the window because there is four or five shots in the the left wall of the living room and then in the dining room as you heard and then all the way in the kitchen on the first floor as this 18 yearold tried to run for his life through all those rooms and outside the back door to try to get the away from these two killers who went there for the soul reason to kill him this was not a Home Invasion, robbery obviously somebody wanted him dead for some reason.
