Police say there was a bar manager shot and killed by the bars own Security Guard, that is what investigators are looking the at right now. Lets get out to steve keeley who can explain what we think have happened in this one, steve, good morning. Reporter there is no explaining this right now. I just got off the phone with one of the detectives. The it is kind of the strange case. It wasnt an inn outsiderment this happened at 10 00 oclock while the bar was opened. One customer is inside here at Police Headquarters, female customer and bar tend are and apparently the Armed Security guard who wears a uniform, hired by this manager, who is 28 years old, they had problems before. But a fight leads to an argument and then bunch of bar stoles overturn. It becomes a fist fight. The fightings from the bar area to a back area where employees only is, and that is where it end in a shooting. We know that during that physical all the case the 28 yearold Security Guard who was working this is bar at the time fired at least three shots with a semiautomatic weapon. We found two of the spent shell casings, in the back room, however, we know that three shots were fired. The 44 yearold victim was hut twice in the torso and once in the leg. When Police Arrived on location, the 28 yearold Security Guard remained on the scene. He was taken into custody by police, police also took possession of his weapon. Reporter strange case because if you are a 44 yearold manager you will not get in the the big fight with a guy you know is armed with a gun. You will not get in a position where you will threat then guy s life where he would shoot you. And despite still being alive, still being conscious and still talking when police got to him he was pronounced dead at the hospital, by 20 after 11 00 sadly. So, they have got everybody involved that was in that place, as sharons little spot here at homicide, and they will see if this was a justified homicide or not, so no charges just yet. Well, lady bartender and other lady customer here at headquarters are telling detectives at least what they saw, said, heard before the shooting occurred. Upon Police Arrival and medics arrival they found a 44 yearold male, inside the bar, in a back room, suffering from two gunshot wound to his torso , one to the leg and he was conscious, he was talking, and medics took him to einstein hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11 22 p. M. At this time there appears to be a shooting by a Security Guard assigned the to the bar, shooting victim was the the manager who works at the bar and for some reason they were involve in the physical altercation. Were not certain at this time what the argument and the altercation was about but with that 28 yearold Security Guard is in custody. This wasnt their first altercation, because the detective on the case says that these two had quote problems in the past. But strange for sure how an argument became fist fight between two guys when both guys no one of them has got a gun. Thomas, i doubt you will beat up somebody if you know they are wearing a uniform and carrying a gun with permit to use it. You will not try to kill that guy if you dont have a gun yourself this one doesnt make sense on the face of it right now to these detectives. A man is in the hospital after being shot four times outside a blue niles falls baron fifth Second Street in West Philadelphia we are learning he is in stable condition this morning at mercy fitzgerald hospital. Victim is in Critical Condition at presbyterian hospital. Also, police are searching for a person they say is posing as a Police Officer. Woman said there was an imposter who tried to stop her this happened in somerton on monday, a little after 2 00 in the morning on the 13,000 block of trevose. Woman says that she was out walking with a friend when a guy comes up in a car claiming he was the Police Officer. She walked away. Short time later he approached her again, man, again indicated he was a Police Officer and said she had to come with him and she called police. Im nervous to walk here because it is like now, there are Police Officers. Police are trying to locate other witnesses as well.
