Tennessee, as throw people have been killed, thousands more forced to flee. Everybody is affected by cancer. This is a real node. This house, it could be a safe place for families with someone in their lives who are battling cancer y some neighbors say no, not in their backyard. Dad day everybody, it is a wednesday, were halfway through this week, today will be better than yesterday. Thats my prediction. All right, yesterday, and i it was a great nap day, i thought. It was raining, and, you know what, weve got some rain on the way again today. Now we add fog to the picture. Dense fog advisory in effect for lancaster, berks counties, lehigh valley, pocono mountains, and half of chester county. So driving out on those country roads, you could encounter some dense fog, allow extra time. It is another four out of ten today. Even though we have a bit of a break in the action with the rain right now, you can see, if you look down in west virginia, and virginia, it is coming back. All of that rain is headed our way. So still damp out there right now. We have 56 degrees, it is mild, visibility at the airport is fine. Sunrise time 7 03. Visibility, though, not so great in mount pocono, pottstown half mile, quarter nile lancaster, wrightstown is foggy, so is Atlantic City, millville, dover. Even if you are not under the dense fog advisory, you still could encounter a lot of fog with all of the moisture in the air. Weve got 40s, 50s, for the temperatures, it is 60 in wildwood right now, we will get to high of 66 degrees, which is unusual, for the last day of november. But expect some thunderstorms, bob kelly, later on in the day. Yes, youre right, sue, definitely Poor Visibility this morning, the wed roads wet roads, almost like carbon copy of yesterday. Even though if it is not range as you pull out of the driveway, roads still wet, those wet leaves are causing for some slippery conditions. And the dense fog, this is a live look at route 202, in chester county, basically, anyone north and west of the city, seeing the thick fog right now. Here is a live look at the ben franklin bridge, again, roads are wet. Wipers on, again, hit and miss. All about the timing today if you leave righten, no wipers. But sue just mentioned with the storm coming our way throughout that second half of the morning rush hour, expect delays this morning on all of the Regional Rail lines. Philadelphia international airport, no delays at the moment. But expect delays as you roll through the morning, check with the airline for the timing. Karen, back over to you. Thank you so much, bob. Well, lets get right to it. Developing situation right now, police are asking for the communitys help to find the gunman show shot and killed a 14 year old, you remember this story, it happened in may fay, about 9 00 over rouse and dover row. Ian wisely, 16 year old friends, simply walk to go store when two guys walked up on them, took off some shots. Three of the bullets struck the teenager in the chest. They raised him to the hospital but he did die there. Police are hoping now that somebodys going to come forward with information that can lead to the killer. Also, Camden Police have sketch they are hoping would help in the apprehension and we have Sexual Assault suspect, there is a sketch. Take a look look. There is a woman who told police that, there was man driving white van, forced her into vacant lot monday, assaulted her, the scene 900 block of south third street. If you recognize the suspect you are asked to contact police. How about this . One . Rats, trash, nasty smell. Those are complaints, coming from people who live in a neighborhood who have said theyve enough of their neighbors trash. For years people live across from the regency village ants have complained about piles of trash all around the building. We learn the Apartment Building over there at 18th and ogontz, long history of garbage, sanitation violations, but neighbors say it is not getting any better. To be honest, weekend keep shoveling, raking leaves up, the trash, possible operation come, alley cats, it is just a mess around here. I shouldnt have to live like this. Nobody should. So we tried to talk to the on site property manager, but were told to come back today. We also reached out to the Property Owner and will let you know when they get response. Bruce gordon follow up on that one. It is 4 05, right to the breaking news from overnight. We know two Philadelphia Police officers are in the hospital after they were bitten by a suspect. The juniata section of the city. They were attack after approaching a person they say broke into a car. All right, we have steve keeley over at police headquarters, pretty unusual situation, steve. Reporter yes, this is somebody who probably watches wwe, and gives a lesson 101 how to turn minor crime into a major crime. He would have been out on bail, probably on his own recognisance by lunchtime just for car breakin. This just happened two and a half hours ago. Karen, didnt just bite this male apnea mail officer, bite, kicked, punched, head butted them, just would not go down as they tried to take him in for this breaking into a honda over at east atlantic street. Chief inspector scott small went over there because these two officers were hurt. When the officers went to investigate and they went to stop the male, who was in the vehicle, there was a violent struggle. The male tried to flee from police, when the police grabbed ahold of the individual he start today punch, kick, head butt, and he bit both of the Police Officers. Both officers, male and female officers, were bit on the arm and hand where it actually broke the skin andrew blood. So police transported both of the officers to area frankford hospital. Theyre in stable condition. However, any time someones bit, a human bite, it is really potentially very dangerous. So it has to be thoroughly planned. Cleaned. Well, we had this incident just last week, down in north wildwood, as well, where there was a lady on the street and firemen show up, emts, along with police trying to help her. And she ended up biting a fire firefighter and Police Officers down the shore. So why these people make minor crimes into major crimes, who knows. But philly police have a tough job. And if you think it is easy being a cop, just listen to that story. A car breakin turns into an aggravated assault of two Police Officers. This guy would probably be liking at days in jail at most for his sentence if convicted now pros possibly looking at years. Steve, well stay on top of that one, thank you. And as you look over here, you see that rain is on the way down from our south. And our west. So, before the morning is through, it will be raining again. So, keep the rain gear nearby. As we said, nothing happening right now, it is all about whats going to happen later on. And the possibility, as this rain moves in from the south and the west, between 7 00, 8 00, 9 00, pop up thunderstorms exist, that possibility. Really throughout the day. There is a house that, big plans, noble cause, to help people with cancer. But as our brat sad inch reports, it wont happen without a fight. We walked in. It just had the feel. It had the warmth. Cheryle wants to make this house her newest nicks house, name after her son, nick, who died of cancer ten years ago. Her charity Head Strong Foundation gives out of town cancer patient and caregiver flea. Free place to call home during cancer treatment. Typical stay in the city for seven week period is over 10,000 just in hotel fees. But the current nicks house, just few miles away, only holds two families at a time. This new one could holdup to seven families, or 14 people at a time. Problem is, it is on the wrong side of harvard avenue, one side owned for inches traces like church and community center, other side where the house for singlefamily residences, some people like lisa fighting the move. She said it is not that they dont have compassion, cancer runs in lisas family. Everybody is affected by cancer. This is a real need. But she is worried about the traffic, the parking, a precedent being set that could invite other group homes to move in and concern for her son who has autism. She moved here six years ago, thinking the zoning offered protection. I really need to know my neighbors, so that they can know him, so they can stay safe. Having that many people in one home rotating through every six weeks, there is no possible way. The charity insists it will be a great neighbor. Those near the current home say it has been problem free. They are not a lot of people. If anything, theyre just sad. And it is heart breaking to know, and see, that they have a child that might not make it. Cheryle says much of the community has been welcoming and if nicks house is allowed here, she will hard to convince the rest. Weve tried to show that we are ready, willing, able to do whatever we can to satisfy their concerns and their fears. Brad sattin, fox 29 news. After the eagles lose to the packer, playoff hopes drop drastically. It doesnt sounds like Doug Pederson want to focus on that any more. More like focusing on the development. Were in this business to win games. Thats why were here. But, at the same time, i look at the process, and i look at the plan, i use those words, because those are words that we use around here, you watch these young kids develop, and turn into ball players, and you see the potential. To the flyers and the bruins, in the ninth rounds of the shootout. Shane, with the goal right there. Very clutch. Then steve mason coming up big with a stop. He had a season high of 45 saves. Good morning, everybody, good day, it is a wednesday, we are halfway through the last day of november. Cant even believe it is december tomorrow. Good morning. Good morning, how are we all doing . Right. Pick stitch. What do you call it . Pick stitch. Pop of color . You know what you need it because it will be a gray day today. Rainy yesterday. More rain is coming today. And then we will add just for good measure dense fog. Yes, there is an advisory in effect, north and west of the city. All of the counties that you see kind of gray out there. Half of chester county, lancaster, berks, lehigh, monroe counties, but fog elsewhere, as well, we will show now second. It is four out of ten in your weather by the numbers again today. So were got ago break from the rain right now. But you can see, not only showers, but thunderstorms are down to our south and west in virginia and west virginia, all headed this way over the next couple of hours. Still damp, in old city here in our neighborhood, 56 degrees, and not much of a wind, which is why were seeing some fog, in fact, visibility now reduced at the airport to 5 miles. Otherwise, we have dense fog in lancaster county, in mount pocono, reduced visibility in trenton, only quarter mile in dover, millville, Atlantic City and those places are not under the dense fog advisory, but perhaps they will be before the morning is through. Fortys in the poconos, 50s just about everywhere else, and 60 degrees in wildwood. So another mild day in store, although, another soggy commute, as well, with thunderstorms possible, any time this afternoon, then high of 66 degrees. So, there is your planner for wednesday, bob kelly. Little bit of information there, sue. 4 32, coleft over rain from yesterday. Pull out of the driveway, full power, rudolph. We could use rudolphs bright knows thereto lead the slay here this morning, because of the fog that were dealing out here. Here is a live look at chester county. Theyre out here working on the vine street expressway, closed from the schuylkill to broad street, until about 5 00 or so. Regional rail lines today, this is your heads up here, in addition to the paoli line, all of the lines yesterday ran anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes, combination of the weather, of course the slippery rales, from all of the leaves that have fallen recently. Watch for ponding in all of the work zones. The poor drainage, along 42, 95, in the construction zone. So far so good up and down 95, but again, reduced speeds are naturally going to make things little longer for your commute this morning. The northeast extension, looking good from lansdale, on down to the turnpike. And both market frankford and the broad street subway, using shuttle buses until 5 00. Karen, back over to you. Bob, thank you. We do have breaking news from over night. Two Philadelphia Police officers are in the hospital after they were bitten by a suspect, in the juniata section of the city. They were attacked after they were approached by a man they say was breaking into a car. We have steve keeley here to explain all of this one, steve . Reporter well there is just happened. At 1 30, right to the video just in. Three hours ago this is an area in north phillys juniata area in the 24th district known for car breakins, and this guy, 32 years old, known to the cops. So car breakins, maybe the top crime in philadelphia, rare that Police Actually see somebody in the act, in the car. So, these two cops patrolling the streets overnight, and theyre in the patrol car. It is mark. Theyre in their uniforms. So this guy knows theyre cops. They see him. They ask him to get out of the car. Put his hands up. They got to search him. Suddenly turns into a World Wrestling steel cage match. Only the injuries in the attack is real. The officers male and female get punched, kicked, bit in the arms and hands, and even head but dollars. They dropped their handcuffs trying to get the cuffs on them, thats how violent the struggle got. The bites breaking the skin on both officers arms and hands, they finally get him in the handicuffs. And they get to the hospital to get it checked. When the officers went to investigate and they went to stop the male who was in the vehicle, there was a violent struggle. A male tried to flee from police. When the police grabbed all ahold of the individual, he started to punch, kick, head but butt and he bit both of the Police Officers. Both officers, male and female officers, were bit on the arm and hand where it actually broke the skin andrew blood. So police transported both of the officers to areafrankford hospital. Theyre in stable condition. However, any time someones bit, a human bite, it is really potentially very dangerous. So it has to be thoroughly cleaned. Reporter so the 32 year old guy has a long criminal history. And it just got longer. Maybe the worse crime at all, aggravated assault on two cops. The worse part of this karen, is that this guy is known to sell drugs, but the worse part, to do drugs. And if hes an iv drug user and his teeth are in and drawing blood from both of these officers, thats why there is concern and thats why there is a whole lot of tests being done at the hospital to make sure he didnt pason any disease toss these brave officers who, you know what, bulletproof vest doesnt stop head butts or teeth. It shows you how tough the job is, and gets tut err tougher every day when we cover them. Thanks, steve. We now that know that three people in the mobile home have been killed. Another person in critical condition. Police say reports of more injuries. We are staying on top of this developing story, it is just happening now. And lets talk about the other situation in tennessee.
