That shooter still on the loose right now, on the hunt for that person. Steve keeley live near where all of this happened with the very latest, steve, what do we know . Yes, this time the murder victim is a lady, a female, 38 or 39 years old, and lets go to the video to where it happened, in the korman suites apartments on welsh rd. , just off the boulevard, a rare spot for any kind of crime. And certainly for a murder. And what happened was this woman was with two other guys, and possibly a third guy, that they all know, and that third guy was the shooter who got away. The woman pronounced dead found lying between two parked cars, and the bullet didnt just hit her. Six of the seven shell casings, they found around her body, were just some of the 12 shots fired, some hit the cars, and even through an apartment window at the korman suite, here is inspector scott small on tv as well as as much as clinton and trump these days. We believe this female shot and killed and the 35 year old male who was shot in the face and arm, they were with a third individual who was not shot. We were able to locate that third individual and he has been transported to homicide and is being interviewed by homicide detective. Now, preliminary information is that our shooter met with our two victims, and the third male, who was not shot, back in this parking lot, were not certain why they met at this location. And that tells you they dont know the motive just yesterday. Just yet. They should finds the motive if these two guys cooperate. You heard him say two victims. You got to think that somebody that shoots you in the face and in the arm is going to come after you again. And you would cooperate with police and tell him why he shot you, why you were meeting with him, and who he is. In fact, they hope that police, that is, that this guy cooperates and the other guy cooperate, they dont even have the full name of the victim yet, just first name, so not putting anything out listing her officially as a jane dough just yep. They checked in the apartment where the bullet went through the window. That will rent is her okay. Now the search is on for the shooter, right out to fox 29 steve keeley. I know a loft information still coming in, steve . Reporter yes, just three hours old. This case is the korman suites apartment, popular place to live off popular strip and across from popular shopping center. Woman killed. Man wounded shot in the face and arm, drove himself to nearby nazareth hospital, tells you there is guy knows the neighborhood. And third guy, man not shot, altogether, in the parking lot here at 1 30 this morning, when fourth guy with a gun, they all likely new for some reason started shooting at them. The woman hit point blank had seven shell casings around her body, they found, between two parked cars, died instantly here, police did think that she would be intended target of this killer because of all of that. But, at least dozen shots fired. Missed the other. But renters here who called 911 after hearing the gunshots, lucky, they were not hit too. Homicide detectives, crime scene personnel on location, processing the scene, knocking on doors of the apartments to see if they find any witnesses. We know several cars were struck by gunfire, parked cars, and a bullet did go through one window in the first floor of one of the amounts. But, police checked on the wellbeing of that occupant and there were no injuries. Well, police here, so they have two surviving witnesses, so you would hope and they hope both would cooperate. It was about four hours ago, in the six a hundred block of north 17th street. Police say the victim was shot and killed at close range. Shot multiple times, excuse me, the victim was shot and killed, yes, shot at close range in the chest and the stomach, they think the victim was the intended target. Pretty clear, due to the fact that the balistic evidence was so close to the victim, and the fact that the victim was shot so many times, and it appears that not only was he the intended target, but it appears he was shot execution style, it appears that the shooter started just feet away, and fired numerous shots, at least six shots, into the victim. The victim has not yet been identified, police do think that the shooting was a robbery, because money found at the scene. They dont think that was it, they think he was the intended target. Looking at surveillance cameras from home to see maybe if it was captured on video.
