Now there is stretch of the roadway has been closed for about at least a half hour, 40 minutes or so. So my sense is that it is a fatal accident when there is no chatter and they have a roadway like this closed this early. Soap, eastbound lanes of 422, blocked, between route 29 and oaks. Again, if you are coming in from, say, royersford, or collegeville, you are going to have to exit at route 29. And then work your way through phoenix ill ville, then back on 422 to king of prussia. Another closure, the closure of the schuylkill. Good news, all lanes opened. It happened about an hour ago when a motorcycle traveling westbound crashed into the concrete barrier and the motorcyclist himself wound up in the eastbound lanes. That motorcyclist taken to a local hospital, hahnemann, being treated there. All lanes of the schuylkill were blocked for about 30, 35 minute or so. Luckily, i jump off at montgomery drive, made my way in. This was the scene of the closure point at one point, but again, everything is open on the schuylkill. We start with breaking news out of West Philadelphia this morning, police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead. After a man was killed breaking into the home of his ex, and her new partner, this all happened in a second floor front bedroom just after midnight on the 800 block of north month costreet. Police say a 33 year old man broke into the second floor in front of the mother of his two children and her newman. Now, we are told, that he has been shot by the new partner and is rushed to the hospital by police. The victim is pronounced dead at the hospital. Comes say the shooter then ran away. Police, do know who he is. This all happened with the children here, a boy and a girl in the house the whole time. The two children she has were home at the time. Currently at the Homicide Division being interviewed, young, under the age of 15, young kids, didnt need to see this situation go on. But we are dealing with them, and dealing with what they need as far as counselling. Police say that the victim first tried to breakin through the kitchen window on the first floor, it was actually pushed out of the home, by the mother of his children, and her new partner. Thats when police say he then went for the second floor, the fight happened, then the shooting. Unbelievable story, here, free after 25 years later. This morning, Anthony Wright is expected to meet with the juror to acquitted him here in his Lawyers Office in center city. This is a man who is just 20 years old when arrested. Lawyers from the innocent project, group that folk you cents on freeing those wrongfully convicted, they, at the time of his arrest, wright was physically threatened into signing an alleged confession, Anthony Wright has always maintained his innocence in connection to the 1991 rape and murder of 77 year old north philadelphia woman, louise tally. In a retrial, wrights lawyers produced dna evidence that exonerated wright and matched the dna of a man named ronnie bird, bird died in 2013, so there are a lot of questions in this case. Of course, Everyone Wants to hear from wright himself. Believed to be in his late 50s now, finally free, hopefully well get that chance to talk with him. Let me show you the scene here on the 800 block of marcos street in west philly. Detective are still investigating this crime scene hours after police say a man was killed after breaking into the home of his ex, and her new partner, this all happened in a second floor bedroom, just after midnight here, on the eight 800 block. North marcos. Thirtythree year old man broke into the second floor, and fought with the mother of his two children, and her new man. He has been shot by her new partner, and rushed to the hospital, penn Presbyterian Hospital, rushed thereby police, and were told he was pronounced dead there. Cops say the shooter ran away but police do know who he is. This all happened with the children in the home, a boy and girl under the age of 15, now, originally police say, that this started with the breakin attempt on the first floor in a kitchen window, but the mother of the children and her new partner pushed him out of the house, at that point, or out of the window, then he went for the second floor to this point the search is on for the shooter in this case, while investigators continue to talk with people, neighbors here, and investigate. After dna tests showed sperm found inside tallys body did not belong to wright. Officials say wright signed confession before retracting it at his first trial.
