We can tell you right now both roadways are back open after they were closed for several hours with this scene of devestation, five people were killed when the car they were riding in slammed into a tractortrailer. The victims were pronounced dead on the scene. The crash happened here route 222, near the route 100 intersection this happened about 4 00 yesterday t took crews on the scene several hours to get this clear. You are looking at video, still images of it now, Upper MacungieTownship PoliceDepartment Says the vehicle with the victims in it headed north on 222 and across the median into the path of the southbound tractortrailer, when it crashed, were told it was a fiery crash, and also, we dont know the exact condition of the driver of the tractortrailer, but both roads are open now. The victims have not been identified yet. Were told by investigators they have to use forensics to identify the victims, due to the severity of the crash situation. So those details still developing. Now, investigators say, five people were killed, when they were in a car that slammed into a tractortrailer. The victims were pronounced dead right on the scene. Around 4 00 yesterday, Upper MacungieTownship Police say the vehicle with the victims inside headed north on 222, and crossed the median into the path of the southbound tractortrailer when the crash happened, resulting in a fiery crash, forensics have to be yours dollars to identify the victims, the identities have not yet been released at this time. We also dont know the current condition of the driver of the tractortrailer. But, again, all roads open at this time. And the next part, trying to figure out who these victims are. But as far as the timing of this storm system, it looks like maybe 8 00, 9 00 when we will start to get the first snowflakes. Actually, well after the end of the evening rush. We were saying yesterday, or last time i should say, tail end of the evening rush it, looks like maybe even later than that, as far as when it starts. But you also see some rain to the southern part of the storm. So it is really going to be tricky, if youre at the jersey shore or the delaware beaches, about what kind of precipitation you get when. But it does look like between maybe 8 00 p. M. On thursday, tonight, and 7 00 a. M. Tomorrow. We could pile up an inch or so of snow. Not much. It will be slushy in spots. It could be just enough because of the timing to make for slippery morning commute. We may even see some delayed School Openings tomorrow. See how things play out. But again, by tomorrow afternoon, that should all be out of here, and then we will see what happens as far as snowfall estimates, slushy totals because.
